• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Old Harley Rider considering a Spyder - load limit concerns?

My wife and I total 615 pounds, and we like to ride 2-up. Three suggestions: 1. Make sure the air-ride bag and its fittings are in good shape. 2. Put the Elka Stage 2 shock on the rear. 3. Put the BajaRon sway bar on the front. Happy motoring!

A part fell off the bottom of the bike

NorwegianRT is right. The biscuit at the top of your picture is on its way out. It should be flush with the sheet-metal piece. With one out and one going, it's time to do something promptly.

Selling my Spyder - should I let them ride, or pillion?

+1 for show them the cycle from the pillion seat. Just for reference, my wife and I recently took the basic rider course and got our endorsements. Even so, the test ride was confined to the parking lot of the dealership. She could not even take it around the block the dealership is on. And...

A part fell off the bottom of the bike

Oh yes , I know that part well. It is one of the "biscuits" that form the hangers for the catalytic converter. Two front and two rear. First question is: Do you even have a cat converter? Or has it been bypassed? If bypassed, throw the biscuit in the trunk and forget about it. If you do...

Any tips on 2020+ RTL Left side inner panel removal?

The picture (hoping is comes through) is a close-up of the front of the left hard bag with the cover open. The pesky screws are the ones at the top and middle. Once you do get them out by a combination of twisting, prying, swearing and praying, replace the plastic fake screws with real...

Any tips on 2020+ RTL Left side inner panel removal?

Once you do get it out, you can replace the fake plastic screw with a real stainless sheet metal screw for future sanity. Same with the two at the front of the hard bag.

Front storage USB port not charging quickly enough - any ideas?

Some random thoughts: Thanks for telling me about the Ampere app, I love electronics experiments. I *think* your cellphone is drawing too much current. As long as the ignition is on either USB outlet on my Spyder will maintain a positive rate of charge on my cellphone. I concur with Bfromla...
