• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PPA wheel owners - are you satisfied with them? Their finish and quality?

I'm the OP, and I still have the PPA wheels. Now they're mounted on my 2022 Sea To Sky :)

Help Needed - F3 Air Intake Modification

The only mod I know of is drilling (2) 1” holes on the air filter cover, like what Monster does with their stage 2 flash. This was on my past F3S with PV3 custom tune. 1" plastic hole plugs pop right in. However, the Spyder will pop like crazy on decel with stock ecu tune.

Does anybody use a J & S Jack to lift their Spyder?

Not on mine. To gain a touch more of lift clearance with the 2" lift extension added, I drive my front tires onto a piece of 2"x4".

Winter 2024-2025 - my planned accessories

Well... Here in WI, I officially gave in to winter. Now the expensive time begins, as I always use storage time as a time to buy and install add-ons. Planned additions for this off season are: 1.) Lamonster belt isolator/tensioner/damper (purchased/Installed) 2.) Touratech Garmin Zumo XT2 lock...

Anyone ever thought of Fender Mounted mirrors??

On my past F3S, I used both bar mounted mirrors and handlebar mounted mirrors using Lamonster Top Cuffs. On the handlebar mirrors, I also used mirror extenders. I stuck with the handlebar/extender mirrors, as I would often bump into the bar end mirrors.

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

Many dealers will warranty register a new old unit to collect any applicable rebates. If they do that, the warranty clock starts ticking at that time. That said, with a two-year manufacturer warranty, the dealer would have had to warranty register that vehicle sometime prior to Nov. 2022. Most...

    Where did you ride?

Today I did my annual ride to Poopy's bar and grill in Savanna, IL. It is my last long'ish ride of the year at about 230 miles round trip. I did listen to holiday tunes while on the ride. :) The bYke is now prepped for winter hibernation...

Does a recall stay with the machine regardless of who owns it?

Just started watching a Netflix series, Territory. About Australian cattle ranchers. Makes it look like the wild west is alive and kicking down under :)
