• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BajaRon Ultra swaybar and BajaRon front shocks coming in this afternoon - any suggestions for initial settings?

Did JRI request any rider particulars, such as: Rider geared weight Percentage of riding with passenger Weight of passenger Percentage of riding with luggage One might think that JRI would set preload/rebound parameters based on rider input to at least get the shocks set up in a ball park setting.

Daylight Saving Time - Make sure to adjust your Spyder clocks - Spring Ahead!

Being in your climate area, I always leave it as is. Pretty much done riding in early November (before falling back) and not again till late March (after springing ahead), if we're lucky :)

Is it necessary to disconnect/purge the auto levelling system when fitting an a/mkt shock?

Thank you. Easy enough. I thought I also read somewhere to manually add approx. 30psi to the system before starting anything up. Sound familiar?

Is it necessary to disconnect/purge the auto levelling system when fitting an a/mkt shock?

Hey all. I just ordered a Wilbers shock for my 2022 RT S2S, and plan on installing it when it arrives. I'll R&R it by removing all the panels on both sides and using lifts/jacks to get it off the ground. Would it be necessary to disconnect/purge the leveling system to remove the shock? I just...

2022 OEM RT S2S seat versus redone Russell Day Long seat.

I'm thinking so too. I didn't request any extra height, but I think the general construction automatically does so. And, once I learned the technique, installing the passenger seat was pretty straight forward :)

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

No idea... I send them my riding parameters/personal specifications, and Wilbers will then build a specific shock (spring rate/valving) to those specs. They will also set dampening and preload as close as possible to those specs. They nailed it on my prior 640 HPA for my F3S. The 640 HPA was...

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

I agree, albeit with a lot of body panel removal. I'll have a buddy with me when I install it to see if I can set the SAG properly before buttoning everything up..

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Thx... Looking for nice results. I did have a good talk with a shock tech at EPM Performance before ordering. My thoughts were about future two up riding, although none is anticipated. He stated that if I were to be as little as a 60%/40% solo/passenger rider, that Wilbers would recommend a...

Anyone tried to modify their 2020+ RT OEM Windshield with a GL1800 vent?

Have you seen these? Comes with two sets. One deflects air downward and one deflects air up. I bought a set over winter and have not yet had a chance to try them. They fit nicely. https://tricledusa.com/collections/new-products/products/tricled-tricflowz-spyder-windshield-vents

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

I'm a 99% solo rider (to now 100% actually), so I didn't feel the need. Besides, Wilbers tend to be a bit on the firmer (more controlled) side. Either way, it'll be better than the OEM shock. I had the HPA on my F3S and really didn't need it, as adding 25# of luggage didn't make any difference...

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Well, I pondered a rear shock for a while, and finally bit the bullet this morning. I was on the fence between the Wilbers 640 and Ikon 3610-1084. Through Ikon AU, the 3610-1084 would cost a very reasonable $565 shipped from AU, as Ikon USA will not sell this shock. A big deterrent for me with...

Wrapping/striping a frunk with matte or denim paint - Results?

I like that! I was thinking metallic silver GT stripes for the frunk/trunk, but I really like the CF look. I was going for gray/silver look, and the CF has it. Thanks :)
