• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Check your backrest bolts

WTH was Can Am thinking? Will a modular helmet fit? I know on my luggage rack installed on my RT S2S, I used the shortest bolts possible along with acorn nuts. The local hardware store also sells plastic screw caps. I'd be PISSED to scratch my Shoei helmet !!!

Is there a supplier selling Saddle bag liners for only the 2 bags on a '23 Spyder RT Limited?

They're really proud of their bags :( . I use the Shad SH 36 liners I kept from the Shad bags I had on my F3S. Fit perfectly and are quite a bit stouter than the Hopnel's.

Has anyone installed a Garmin XT2 and Touratech Lock with Helibars? Any pics? Will it fit?

I have, and they will not fit between the bars. You'll have to mount the GPS/Touratech either in front or behind. One option that will fit better is the MotoPumps GPS lock. Not as secure, but effective and simple in design. I used that for a time being. I am currently using my XT2/Touratech...

Wrapping/striping a frunk with matte or denim paint - Results?

Since it's still too cold in WI to apply my WrapMySpyder stripe kit outside, I decided to bring the hood/top case inside Black carbon fiber look wrap on my 2022 RT S2S mystery blue. I took the luggage rack off and filled holes with stainless steel button head screws/rubber washers. Me likey -

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Lots of tupperware to take off, along with driver/passenger boards to put the rear shock on. I had the Spyder on a lift to access the upper bolt, but no way would my hands fit up there. On a side note, the top exhaust spring was a piece of cake, as I'll install my RLS cat delete at the same time. :)

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got all the body panels removed in preparation for my Wilbers rear shock install. Scheduled to arrive on Friday :)

F3 Base - Rear shock bottoms out (stationary) with my passenger onboard. I'm shock illiterate, what do I need in a shock?

In reality, you need a shock built to your specs with a hydraulic preload adjuster. If you have a shock set to your 420# two up rating, you'll be pummeled when riding solo. With a hydraulic preload adjuster, you can dial the preload up/down on each ride. Pricey, yes but it's about the only shock...

What Front Tire Pressure in an F3?

Sadly, BlueKnight passed away a few months ago. Peter will be along soon to help you. But at your weight, I'd think no more than 17# in that rear Altimax.

Don't trust USPS with your oil sample!

I'll be curious to see what the shear levels are with the T6 5w40. Known to shear down quite a bit on shared sumps. ** Oop's. I see you run 15w40 **

Vredestein fronts are a firmer, more controlled tire. No car tire will provide a softer ride than OEM Kenda/Kanine.

Another tire thread…but different¿ New Kenda XPS Roadster Tires - more durable...

I do have car tires on my RT S2S. That said, 165/60R15's slightly rub inside my fenders. And, yes, I have shimmed my fenders and installed lower profile screws. I threw enough $$ for 165/60R's where I'm sticking with 165/55R15's. I should be able to get a couple more years out of my Achilles...

Just talked to my parts guy at the my local dealer re: the XPS tires. They will supersede the the OEM Kenda part number of the current OEM tire come mid/late April, when they will become available to purchase thru Can Am Spyder dealers only. Not sure how much better they will be, but we'll see...

What Front Shocks Recommendations for a 2020+ RT?

Just a heads up, EMP Performance will give a 10% First responder/military discount if you qualify. I got my 640 rear shock thru them for $705/shipped (not a HPA unit). Martin takes great care of his customers, but buying from a USA vendor will get you a (5) year warranty. BTW, Martin goes the...
