• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yes. If you feel comfortable with running a wire (a double wire both positive and negative) directly off the battery up to a location where you can connect your GPS, then by all means go that route. For double protection, I would also run that fused wire through a "loom wire wrap". Good luck...

    There isn't much you can do to protect the front of your spyder other than watching where you're going. If you see an object in your path coming at you that you can't avoid, try to take it on directly under your foot and not dead center it. There isn't a lot you can do in the last half second...

    I added a mount to my left "combo switch" and needed longer screws than the OEM screws. I went to Ace Hardware and found exactly what I needed.

    Riders Share - has anyone tried or rented their bike out ?

    The only person I've allowed to drive my spyder was my wife, while I was a passenger with her. I showed her how to start it and how to shut it off.     I've had my side panels off and on I don't know how many times and I haven't had any issues with them. I spit on them to easily pop them back in and I've never had them break off or otherwise come loose unless I pop them off.
