• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Must add brake fluid?

Had it happen at Spyder's in the Hills last week. Joe and Ann (Squared Away) were very gracious and added a wee bit of fluid and we were on our way. Thanks Joe and Ann! Jack

    Riding in the Rain

Rain? I try to avoid the stuff myself. With my eyes looking through my helmet shield, my windshield and my trifogles all of which have water on them I usually park it if I can. I do this to have fun not out to prove anything. Jack

    TOY HAULERS for the Spyder

No worse than owning a home. If you don't know which end of the screwdriver to hold you have no business owning a home or motorhome. (or a Spyder) Jack

    Replacing my front tyres.

Thats more like it Mike! Learning to tolerate others opinions is a start. I sense a very small willingness to give just a little. Now that's progress.:joke: After all opinions are like, you know what. Everybody has one. Hope everyones day is going as good as mine! Jack

    Touring pants

How can a post on what pants to wear have so many replys? Really it is a matter of preference. Some feel safe in their underwear, T-shirt and slats. Some can't get enough safety gear on to feel safe. If you ride on the edge all the time you can not have too much safety gear on. If your choice is...

    laser alignment in maggie valley?

Come on down to Spyder's in the Hills at Kerrville TX, and let the real professionals who probably have done more alignments than all the shops put together. Joe and Ann Meyer who own Squared Away is the very best and charge less. Spyders in the Hills---16---19th of October in Kerrville TX...

    Touring pants

Why wash every three days? The longer you wear them without washing the more protection you will get. :joke: Jack

    Not a gripe, just saying...

There is an old saying we should all be aware of "Let The Buyer Be Ware". Everyone should be skeptical when buying anything. There are too many ways to fleece the buyer these days and one should balance there emotions with good common sense. Power Sports and Car dealing is the worst! Jack

Southern Utah Red Rock Spyder Ryde-In

Going to miss you Jay. Maybe next year. Does anyone have a list of the attendee's or how many people are registered? Not a lot of information out there and a lot of us don't do Facebook. Nothing about attendee list on FB either. Jack

    CAT removal legality?

Sorry about the late reply. The CAT removal under normal use is barely louder than with the CAT. Only with wrapping it (or stepping on the tail) will it produce a sound louder than normal. I have thrown the CAT out on all my sport vehicles. Honestly don't notice a significant difference in power...

    CAT removal legality?

My CAT escaped 5 years ago and I never found it. (nor am I ever going to look for it) It was a device mounted directly under the gas tank on the 2013 engine with the ( 2014) frame to boil the gas in the tank. I had one! Lazer gas temp exceeded 180*. I was a Test Bunny for the factory here in...
