• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will a 2024 Sea to Sky let me navigate via my Samsung phone?

Yes to that /\/\ Carpuride sells tablets with both Carplay and Android auto on them via Amazon for under $200. Check their website for compatibiity with Samsungs Note 20 and up and 21/22/23/24. Not all are listed as compatible. BT def needs to be 5.0 preferably 5.2 latest version. My Sena 50S...

    Random thought for the day

This was originally posted & quoted in May 2024: Just seeing this now in November 2024... but it reminds me of I75/I85/I285 Interstate highways in Atlanta GA - Started with Improvements to I75 and I85 ahead of the 1996 Olympic Games. That really was just making 4 lanes from 3 (they just...

New Sway bar installed on 2023 S2S at BajaRon's - Highly recommend!

Yes BaJaRon installed his Ultimate bar on my 2023 Sea to Sky. As Ron indicated above the design of the bar has not changed on the RT's since 2013. I do not think the install is any different except to install the bar ends and torque them to spec. In fact the install should be easier since the...

I guess people should really try to slow down and read properly... but not on their phones... too small... :)

Apple Car Play download initially failed! NOW Finally available....

jfischer, Sounds great... I need to take my 2024 S2S in to have the update performed then. We use Samsung Androids Note 20 5g, so no ACP but it will then be fully up to date if we ever sell it. Can you post a link to the Gearelec units, please?

Oh my... lower psi in car tires on Spyder's really works!

Yeah chalk on sidewall for autocrossing works to help find the right pressure. I also used to use ice water spray to cool the tires down between runs esp in the hot SE summer.

On the Road and BajaRon end link came off - what size hex key needed?

I think I'm gonna check out the BR Ultimate bar installed on my 2023 S2S Oct last year, just to make sure it is tight, as I have not even thought about it since the install. Sorry for your troubles and glad it will be fixed.

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

I have several types of gloves that I use. Old school leather driving gloves with a longer cuff + thin wool lining I use for summer and temperate days in fall. They tuck into my Leather jacket. They do not have an open back. I have deerskin gloves for fall and spring. Those are nice and warm...

What is the difference between F3 and RT Limiteds?

Not sure of the better protection from the elements... I mean, you are still on a 3-wheeler. Windshield might make some diff but if it's raining or snowing, hot or cold, it isn't gonna be much difference.

I don't understand 'Trip Statistics'... am I holding it wrong?

Clear them both and see if that fixes the issue. Do it while gassing up so you know it spans the correct # of miles.

I’m getting frustrated with the belt vibration - any ideas to help?

Is it possible the vibration existed before the tire swap, and you just did not notice it? That may mean the stiffer side wall is exacerbating the driveline vibrations. Those belt dampers are not too expensive, might be worth a shot, just need to inspect and test the roller at periodic...

Any thoughts on this Handlebar vibration/shake?

Yes def jack it up and see if the tires rotate round with no vertical runout. Take video of it. If not round try to get the dealer to replace under warranty, but be prepared to show receipts for the re-balance and video of the out of round. You could take it to a local tire shop that can test...

    How Do You Ride?

We like to ride mostly back roads or town roads. I hate going on I75 northbound out of Marietta Ga heading to Cartersville GA. Wall to wall 18 wheeler Trucks and people seem to aim for you and cut you off etc. I75 posted limit is 70 mph but i wont go that fast. We def like to go for morning...

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Well, BRP is expanding the range... Wonderful... Hopefully they don't come with the #%^# new 2024 screens and ACP that doesn't work.

How close are we to getting a 2024 shop manual?

Mebbe they do cover many things, but the screen is way different on the 2024, as are both of the handlebar controls. Ditto for the way those things actually work. Troubleshooting for those would not be covered at all. My $2, due to dollar decline.
