• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

I traded my 2019 Ryker Rally on a Canyon std model yesterday. My selection of the std model over the XT or RR is due to my needs. I never ride with a passenger, and can add heated driver grips, back-up camera, and luggage and still come out about $1500 below the XT or $6,000 below the RR. I can...

    Canyon Test Ride

For the record my dealer here in Texas charged me MSRP for my Canyon STD, 750 for freight, 475 for setup, 399 for lifetime battery and the regular tax, title, and license that goes to the state. I went back and looked at my bill of sale in 2019 for my Ryker and freight was less (to Texas from...

Our next toy? - Check out this Kawasaki concept

No! Nope, nopedy nope nope! That thing reminds of those creepy robo dogs. I watched the video and then had to pour myself a double whiskey to get over it.

Brake failure message and no fluid from ABS and the rear caliper, any ideas?

Shawn Smoak mentioned in one of his recent you tubes that the rear reservoir feeds the front brakes and the front reservoir feeds the rear. Be sure you are checking the correct reservoir.

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

OK, here is an update. I was able to sit on the Red Rock and found that it fit my long legs very well. Mounting it is a piece of cake; just put the left foot on the left peg and swing a leg over. Once up there the sitting position and handlebar height is "commanding". It will also be very...

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

My local dealer has a Red Rock model in stock. It was not yet assembled as of this morning. I am hoping to get a "test sit" this weekend. Not sure yet if they will let me test ride it.

MY '21/'22 Production Ryker Fuel pump recall; + some '19-'24 replacements!

My 2019 Rally with 19.5 K miles left me stranded on the side of the road today. I had filled up and ridden about 80 miles when I noticed some surging. It felt almost like the brakes were briefly applied and released. I tried to limp home but after another 30 miles it just lost power and...

Buying a new Ryker Rally - any MUST HAVE accessories to get right from the start?

I have the CalSci medium height windshield on my 2019 Rally. I had tried CanAm Sport windshield installed by the dealer at purchase but found it too small for my 6 foot height and buffeting was severere . At the time (in early 2019) the CalSci was the only other screen available. CalSci...

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

I replaced the standard bars on my 2019 Rally with the Can-Am Cross-Style Handlebar for All Ryker models (part #) 219400847. They are 6" wider end to end (providing more leverage) pull back about 3" and sit higher by 3" compared to stock and reduce the accute angle on my wrists. They are pre...

2 wheeler sayings don't apply to Rykers - we need 3 wheeler sayings!

Although I acknowledge the type of gear worn by any rider is personal choice I am in the ATGATT camp. That decision saved me when in February 2018 a careless left turn by an approaching driver launched me and my BMW GS over the roof of a Honda Accord (see what's left of the GS in my avatar)...

    Classic Solo Saddle

Your hiny will appreciate what you spend on it. I have had a Corbin saddle on my Riker for 5 months. For reference I am 6' tall and weigh 145 lbs thus I have very little posterior padding (noassatol). The Corbin seat with leather seating surface and flatter profile is worth every penny. My...

What Tires are on YOUR Ryker - Details

Mounted my second rear replacement tire today. It is an Americus Sport HP 205/55R15 88V BSW (federals were sold out). The center on the Henna wore to the rain bars in 8600 miles but the outer edges had about a mm more so I am dropping the pressure on the replacement tire to 18 psi
