• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 F3 - No Camo Pics - Things are looking up!

I love the naked look too!! The seating position does seem a bit on the awkward side for sure.

2015 F3 - No Camo Pics - Things are looking up!

This will definitely target a different market of Spyder owners. I have a feeling that most of the current owners won't like this. This seems to appeal more to a younger crowd IMHO. Maybe that's why I like it.

I agree, the bars seem a bit awkward to me.

2015 F3 - No Camo Pics - Things are looking up!

I love it and I knew I would from the spy photos. The handlebars seem a little cramped for those riders that were testing it, but probably would be perfect for someone of my stature. Not sure about the forward controls, that could take some getting used to, and it would definitely need more...

    Laser Alignment in Idaho????

Where in Idaho are you?? Your profile says Manteca? Perhaps you are someone I have met/rode with as I am from the San Francisco Bay Area originally. Anyway, I am in the Salt Lake City area now and I know Ann and Joe from Square Away LLC. They are the best in the industry for the Spyder laser...

    2015 Can-Am Spyder Roadster Spied!

My thought exactly!! The average age of a Spyder owner is 50+. The 20 and 30 somethings down't have $16,000+ to drop on a Spyder. They really needed to target that market with this year's new models.

Who's going to Spyders in the Redwoods Aug 4-7 2013?

Me too. But it's going to be hot getting there. 106° forecasted for Redding, CA on Saturday for us and high 90 through Nevada with thundershowers on this Friday.

    Perhaps the cheapest performance ever

Just got back from a 20 mile ride. It's 92° here. Tested at varying speeds and plenty deceleration and downshifting. It reduced the popping by half, a more even idle, and it's running much cooler.

    Perhaps the cheapest performance ever

I'm installing a custom heat shield to reduce engine heat from entering the box.

    Perhaps the cheapest performance ever

I totally understand. I will do this tomorrow when I change the fuel filter. I've got a 2,000 mile round trip to CA next Friday. That will be a great test. Any issues with rain or water?

Who's going to Spyders in the Redwoods Aug 4-7 2013?

So happy to see you all planning and getting excited about the fourth annual Spyders in the Redwoods event. We have a lot of great things planned again for this year. If you missed the pre-registration period, you can still register on the first day of the event at the Red Lion in Eureka...

    Hot feet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to say something about flip-flops.... I'll never get people that ride in flip-flops and shorts.... especially flip-flops. I have a SM5 and it would hurt like heck everytime I shifted if I wore flip-flops. Seriously people.... at least wear a sturdy tennis shoe.

    Perhaps the cheapest performance ever

Mo, I am very glad I stumbled upon this post. Tomorrow that thing is GONE!! I am going to at least shorten it, if not remove it all together. Thanks for the tip man! I'm tired of the popping on my Yoshi under decel. Gonna miss you and Leslie at SITR this year. See ya around.

    Insulation on Gas Tank

I did both. I had a recent problem with boiling fuel. I wanted to cover myself for my long trip.

Front Spark Plug Removal on RT???

Just finished. Took 3.5 hours. Not bad. Taking that frame piece and swinging it out of the way made a huge difference. No cussing this time.
