• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

Agree that the F3-S looks MUCH better with the rear cowl. Yellow stitching on my stock rear (and front) seat helps some, but not enough to break up all the black on the rear half. Only used my rear seat once - as a place to carry my duffel bag on a week-long trip. But just today I made a rack to...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Prepping my ride for a possible road trip to Green Country Jamboree. Put the IPS rack w/ top case back on, and today I fashioned a smaller rack in front of the IPS to carry my duffel bag. Made from aluminum angle and a $16 porcelain enamel grill topper. Once at my destination, I can pull four...

Bright Headlights Daytime Yes or No

On my F3-S, in daytime, I have Lamonster LED headlights on low beam and Lamonster LED fog lights on. Have the fog lights aimed a tad high, about like the high beam level. Apparently works pretty well. Have had a couple of cars flash their lights at me during daytime. Because of high fog light...

    Extended Warranty Purchasing Advice Needed

Bought a $671 BEST from iMotosport this past May - for my ‘17 F3-S … which was still within its 2-year factory warranty! Double and triple-checked with Mr. Palmer there that I could indeed get the extension, even on a several-year-leftover trike. He assured me all was good. And I have verified...

Most amount of miles/KM you have ridden in one day on the Spyder

The wife and I rode the two F3-S’s to the meetup in Nixa last year. Rode from home to Sulphur Springs, TX, the first day. A little over 600 miles … and still not out of Texas yet!

What did you do to get a Twisted Sisters route on your Garmin XT?

Don’t overthink it. It’s three roads - Ranch Roads 335, 336, and 337. Two basically north/south, one basically east/west. Ride 'em in any order you see fit. Then, next day, hit the ones you really liked again - possibly in the opposite direction.

    Reminiscing About Days Gone By...

Back in the ‘90’s, I had a ‘71 Challenger (factory Plum Crazy purple) with a transplanted 426Hemi in it. Several times at fuel stations, I was greeted with, “Nice Camaro!” Learned to just let it go. But at the drag strip one afternoon, had a guy come up and say, “I need some valve covers like...

Anybody go for a Ride Today? Post about your ride (with pics?)

Thread title is “Today’s ride with pics”, so thought I would piggy-back mine on here. Hope that’s OK w/ you, BamaJohn. Took a 87-mile ride this afternoon, checking out some of the other area farmers’ fields in two adjacent counties. We are about a week from starting our milo harvest, and just...

Green Country Spyder Jamboree - September 26-27-28, 2024

Booked a room at Tru, hoping that my sesame harvesting will be over by then. It’s only a ~830-mile ride to get there on the two F3-S’s… Will wait a bit on registering - unless there is a limit on registrations. :dontknow:

    I got another New Helmet!

Just bought a new lid myself! CycleGear is having a helmet sale this week. Picked up a Shoei RF-SR in matte dark grey (which looks more silver-y than grey to me). Sale included a basic Cardo Spirit Bluetooth unit, installed, at no charge, but they credited me the value of that basic unit...

Who here has or uses a Leatherman or equivalent?

Have carried several different Leatherman multi tools over the past 20+ years. Use mine multiple times daily for all kinds of different things. Broken knife tips or screwdriver tips is usually why I have to upgrade. But I use them for more than what they were designed for! :banghead: Would be...

Will a 2023 F3 fit on an open 6x12 UHaul Trailer with ramp?

My wife loaded her F3-S into a UHaul 6x12 enclosed trailer. BUT, you need to make sure to get one with the double swing-out doors, not the roll-up door! Then you just need 3 ramps.

Which do you prefer for Dallas to Hot Springs - I-30 or I-70? Why?

If you’ve got the time, head North from Paris on US-271 all the way to just North of Talihina, Oklahoma; then take OK-1/AR-88 East all the way past Mena and Oden, AR; then continue East on AR-270 through Mt Ida into Hot Springs. You won’t be sorry - the Talimena Scenic Byway is quite the route -...

Am I alone? Why are there so few ride reports?!?

First m/c road trip ever made for either my new-ish wife or myself. It was in 1996 or ‘97, and we were right about 30 years old and B.C. (before children). A weekend getaway from the southern tip of Texas to tent camping in Schreiner State Park in Kerrville, TX. About 350 miles distant. We were...

I had supper there tonight, as a matter of fact! Not on the F3-S, though.

Birthday present - “some assembly required” Reverse Trike model!

Only know two things about the engine set-up - 1) it looks fairly scale in the model {wish we had V4’s in the F3-S}, and 2) compression ratio is ZERO !!!

N Dallas - Hot Springs Rally - Meet n Ryde?

Two to 4 is about the biggest group I’d wanna travel with. If end up as part of a bigger group, I try to find a couple others and form our own separate small group to travel to the destination either ahead of or behind the main group. Too many things to go wrong in a large group. And, you are...
