• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Engine smoking and burning lots of oil - anyone pulled an engine?

My SM6 is stiff whether running or not. Probably the stiffest clutch pull on any cycle I have owned, as well.

Should I get something showing I have bought the BRP Extended Warranty?

Got mine from iMotosports online. Only documentation was the emails back & forth. Called a local dealer a week later, gave them my VIN, and they confirmed. Done.

Your Weather News @ February Edition 2025

South Texas weather looks good for the next week or so. We’ll be having highs in the mid- to upper-80’s F. Good enough that I am going to get my planter loaded up and get started on our corn this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I apologize to all of you in the frozen tundra for making you feel...

Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

Does anyone know if the latest versions of this recall still use the October 29, 2016 date as the early cut-off for the 2017 models? I read through the BRP info supplied by Freddy in post #82 above, which simply states “Certain 2017 to 2019 …” and goes on to list the mileage thresholds. I see...

Your Weather News @ January Edition 2025 (Updated)

Very cold (for down here!) start to the day today. Took an early-morning 44-mile ride today. The 7:50am departure temp was 27°F, wind NNW at 4mph, sunny skies. Not a bad ride. But I may need to invest in some sort of electric gloves for next time.

Your Weather News @ January Edition 2025 (Updated)

Welcome to sunny deep South Texas - NOT! Current temp of 33F, feels-like temp of 15*F, humidity 96%, winds NNW 26mph, gusts at 43mph. Having an on-and-off mix of drizzle, snow, freezing drizzle and/or sleet. Gonna get a little colder today, then warm up to about 37*F later today. But it’s gonna...

F3s Travel cover needed - any recommendations on which is best?

@Dasmoetorhead - just an FYI … a F3-S will fit into a UHaul 6’x 12’ enclosed trailer - but ONLY the one with the double swing-out doors in back, and NOT the roll-up door. My wife pulled that UHaul from here in south Texas the ~525 miles to Dallas, loaded up the new-to-her ‘15 F3-S, and pulled it...

Turn your speakers up and try this!

All I know is that since I tried (unsuccessfully) to see what all the fuss was about on the original post, my keyboard plays notes on some keys anytime I type anything into the forum - including while I am logging in. Can someone tell this computer dummy how I can fix this? Been listening to...

2025 Planning 11th Memorial Trip to Central Texas (in memory of my wife)

I will share several rides in the CenTex area I have enjoyed because of the winding roads and/or scenery. First, if you decide to hit Burnet (based on info in post #10 above), be sure to ride Park Road 4 between Texas 29 and US-281. And keep your eyes peeled on the East side of the road for a...

Oil Pressure Warning light stays off before cranking, normal or not?

Cobranut - I know this thread is a couple months old, but I have some answers to your original request. We have two early-model F3-S’s. On both my wife’s SE6 and my SM6, at key-on, all warning lights illuminate, then go off. No oil pressure light illuminated with key on but engine stopped. Hope...

    F3-S performance rear tire - can I run a Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS?

Had a thought the other night (occasionally dangerous, and usually expensive!): could I run a Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS extreme performance summer tire on the F3-S? Comes in a factory-sized 225/50R15. Here’s my thoughts/reasons. Wanting a tire that will hook up VERY well for the couple times...
