• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    ECU remap for more torque

"only a 2 cylinder" is one of the reasons it has more torque. Engines with fewer (yet larger) cylinders and longer strokes tend to have more TQ than shorter stroke multi-cyl engines. Don't forget, we are only 1330 cc. We have more hp than a H-D, but require much higher rpm to achieve that...

    F3 S Foot brake position.

Right after we got my wife's F3, she complained about the pedal position. I simply drilled another hole and it lowered the pedal enough. Do a search of my posts and you'll find pix.

. Of the "solutions" offered, yours is the only one that works for me. Thanks.

Space bar inoperative when I "reply with quote"

Title really says it all. Anywhere else on the internet and/or this forum the space bar operates. When I type a "reply with quote" on this forum, there are no spaces between words. If I go back to my sentence with the cursor, I can insert spaces. What's up?

    Arachnid rear tire vs kenda

On my 2006 ZO6 the Goodyear 325s were about .75" wider than the Michelin 335s. (Same wheel and correct width wheel) This difference is common in the car community. Michelin Pilot Super Sports are one example of a pure street tire (not track) that is expensive and will not give you high mileage...

    Arachnid rear tire vs kenda

I don't dispute that USDOT mandate, but in reality, 2 different brand tires of the same "size" will likely measure out differentl. The difference may not be large, but it is clearly there. I continue to be amazed that so may people equate tire mileage with tire quality. The best and most...

    Belt tensioner.

I've been reading your similar posts for quite a while now. It seems that with so many feeling improvements (some at 100%) via a tensioner, you would concede that your issues are specific to your bike and not all F3s. SmoothSpyder cured ALL of our vibrations at ALL rpm. It sounds like you have...

    Tire wear bar question

I reread your post looking for a statement I could agree with and there wasn’t one. The idea that a manufacturer recommends pressures to sell more tires is odd, at best. Never go by the tire specs as they do not take into account the complicated interface of your particular suspension. (shocks...

    Tire wear bar question

Also, I've read that 90% of punctures happen during the last 10% of a tire's legal tread life.(sounds reasonable to me)

    F 3 front fender Lights

if the lights on the rear of the fenders are visible to your eyes, your pupils will dilate and your night vision may diminish as a result. I didn't realize this until after the purchase of a 2016 ZO6 whose dash and infotainment screens are lite up like a runway! My night vision in that car...

    Eco.mode.....seriously???

You do realize that not everyone shares your point of view? Your post is offensive to many people.

    Eco.mode.....seriously???

ECO on the open road will make zero difference. If by "mapping" you mean AFR or timing, then you are mistaken. ECO changes the rate of input from the throttle position. (see chart)

    Eco.mode.....seriously???

Cruising at a constant speed is exactly where ECO mode will have zero effect.

    Tire Pressure

Possibly because the RT weighs more. For a given (desired) contact patch area, additional psi will support more weight. Tire pressure works in conjunction with other suspension parameters such as shock settings, spring rates, etc.

How Far On One tank Of Gas?

Remember, ECO mode only affects shift points, so it has no affect on cruising mpg. (you can duplicate ECO simply by shifting earlier)

    BRP belt tensioner

I was wondering how long it would take you to chime in. What you feel isn't the same as what others feel no matter how much you insist. Ours is (was) belt related and SmoothSpyder fixed it.

Ordered the Clutch assist kit from BRP

I did this project on my wife's F3 a while ago , so I don't remember all the details. I do remember that I gave up on trying to use screws to mount the solenoid and just zip tied it securely to something. I don't recall which way the valve goes, but it was counter-intuitive and I had to reverse...
