• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What brand of coolant/anti-freeze is BRP using?

Mike, if you can get your finger in far enough to guide the anti-freeze tester tube down the very front of the reservoir it will go all the way down. Did this today with my buddy's RT to get an idea of how much was in the reservoir. Very little it turned out, so we added a couple of quarts...

What brand of coolant/anti-freeze is BRP using?

Thanks Mike. Have a buddy whose coolant is down and water was added. Am gonna check it and if antifreeze is too little, maybe siphoning the overflow container (whatever its called) and adding pure Dex, might well be enough. We don't ride if its below 40F anyway.

What brand of coolant/anti-freeze is BRP using?

Mike, you may have posted and I missed it, but are you still running the Dexcool and is all ok? I had intended to do a flush but couldn't get my old bones to function so had the dealer do it. Tech did say Dexcool was fine for topping off but did not question his source of info.

I don't like my driver's backrest - any better options?

Same with my '16 F3. It's the most comfortable backrest I've ever had, and I had Utopia's on my '11 RT and '14 RT.

Need a new Rear tire - any suggestions?

205/60R-15 is avail from Tire Rack. Ordered two for me and buddy and they arrived in two days. I've read that others have used this size with success so decided to give it a try on the rear of mine. Currently have Vred's on front and really like them.

Are Belt Tensioners installed on new bikes same as they used to be?

Just wondering if BRP had updated them when they began installing as a factory build, as opposed to those they used to sell as an accessory? Can't seem to find them on the fiche to compare part numbers. Just a matter of curiosity on my part. FWIW, I've read all the pros/cons about use of...

I run a nylon tie through the hole and around the bar, cut off excess and roll the knot? up over the bar so its not obvious.

Red Dust of Death Recall???? Front Sprocket Recall - FINALLY....

Ed, you may know this already, but the dealers do not have whatever the parts are (presumably a new/diff front sprocket) that BRP is supposed to come up with. I was at my dealer today and asked the main mechanic and he had no information on it. My dealer has done what yours has done....check...

I finally got around to installing an OEM on mine today. If I like it, I intend to replace it with the roller Lamont sells.

When is the best time to buy a new 2017 RT battery?

Dolitle, I put one like this in mine two years or more ago as the OEM was getting weak. Double check the size as I'm not 100% this is the exact one I have. If mine goes tomorrow, I'd get this brand again. https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-YTX24HL-BSGEL-Product/dp/B00V76AV00?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Need decent storage - F3S & roll my own luggage, or F3T?

Tons of motorcycle specific bags on the market if you want to shop. Otherwise, put your clothes in a plastic bag for waterproofing, stuff it in whatever carryall bag or small luggage you have around the house and bungee it on your back seat using the passenger handles you have back there. I...

'20RTL - what color code to fix Black Rim Rash?

Before you spend a lot of money on a new wheel, get whatever black you think is closst...perhaps semi-gloss, a small brush, and give it a try. Might find it works well enough. Or check with some car dealers to find a local touch up outfit. They use them all the time.

If I have to do it again before the front sproket gets replaced under the recall, I'll give your method a try. Right now, its running fairly good at 175lbs (Kriket). Appreciate the feedback from all of you.
