• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

alternative front tires for the Ryker

I've now ordered 165/50R16 size tires (instead of 145/60's ) after I saw some Ryders who installed a Nankang in this version without any problem from the Fenders or the VSS We need better "rain-tires" here in the Alps, so I took the tires from "Imperial" (a Belgian brand) - there would be also...

Who has or has not had problems with their Ryker??

No real problem in the last 20,500 miles, they fixed a sensor with a better sleeve, could repair a flat front-tire on the road. Still looking for a better rear shock for our 2up-full-loaded adventure tours in Italy.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Our Son (25y) showed no interest on our three wheelers - that changed when he first tested the Ryker one week ago. So I hired one for a trip in the mountains, to show him "how to..." - our first father-mother-child tour :ohyea: P.S. he found out that our Ruker is much more stable on the front...

Ryker - Riser for the back shock

We use longer shocks on the front, but for our 2up tours we are still not satisfy with the expensive Fox-shock what was installed from beginning on, she is too low on the back. After a longer Italian tour, where we bottomed out some times and got some cuts in the fender and on the swing arm, we...

2020 vs 2021 Ryker 900 (Rally) big performance downgrade on the 2021? With video...

I have also the "downtuned" EU Version - it seems they just used a different mapping for Europe (but it's easy to change to the US-Version). Now the 2021 EU-Version (which I tested) feels to run faster 0 - 60 times, the engine sounds a little different, they told me there are new "weights" (??)...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

we had a nice meeting here in Austria - 17 Rykers - two girls-Ryders and only two 2up-Ryders .. together with some Spyders .. was a great day !! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzGuqrQ6q3U

What is your Ryker's name ?

Ours is called "dolce vita" (sweet life) - we ryde most of the time over the mountains, than along the Italian coast and visit some islands there - the Italian way of life...

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

NO !! - we used two Spyders before and got one of the first (2018) 900 STD Rykers - after my first test I brought it back to the dealer and told them there is something rong with the front.. they checked the wheels and the alignment and installed the (red) stronger BRP sway-bar on it (lot of...

Any ideas on a way to stop all the Wind buffeting?

Maybe you could try the Can-Am Outlander deluxe fairing - they have 3 different sizes of windshields for it. It works perfectly for us, also if you have to ride in the rain!!

Italian Tuscany Tour - the island of ELBA

Finally, the border to Italy opened, so we made our first tour this year (around 1,600 miles) from the East to the West coast of Italy. We found a really old estate to rent for a week and made daily trips around Tuscany - here you see Elba, a small island near Corsica. Our Ryker still runs...

    Clobbered my fender :(

If you install something "under" the max-mount you should always use a "spring-travel-limiter" or better yet, a "shock-riser" on the back (like this) if you ride 2up - I know this problem.

What fits in the Ryker glove-box?!

Mine is full! Here in Europe, we have to carry two safety vests, a warning triangle, and a first aid kit, so there's not much space for tools. I have a Torx screwdriver with a rotating handle if some screws are too tight, pliers, and insulating tape... that's all! - -

    The Killing Zone

If you ride behind a Spyder/Ryker it looks more dangerous that it is... Here in the Alps, a lot of motorcycles use the maximum width of the roads

    Range Calculation in Fuel Statistics

I only use the "miles to empty calculator" and that works fine! The Ryker needs double the fuel if I ride solo with some biker-friends or uphill here in the Alps. So during the ryde, the system always calculates up and down! If you stop and make a restart, it calculates not with the last trip...

    Ryker with two Shad Sidecases

with the Ryker on curvy roads - 2up and full loaded

It just looks so dangerous from the back - the biker came out to the middle of the road and I did too with my left wheel - you have to calculate that situation on road like this...
