• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

Milage I have about 47,500 mi (not km) on mine:yes:. I got my instrument cluster changed out at Cowtown last year at about 38,500 mi and I have added some 9000mi since. I did not request a pin although BRP should just give me one:clap:. I think there are a couple of people that have more milage...

Had a few problems today. Any ideas on fixes?

Problems I'll tackle the one I am most familiar with first. 1) The inability to go into reverse is most likely a failed actuator (I am on my 2nd one now). According to the dealer these are cheap and fail easily. There is a rubber boot on the actuator which breaks easily. Then dirt gets into...

    Hello USA

Nova Scotia A funny thing happened on my way to the US (from Nova Scotia). I was crossing the border into Maine when the border agent noticed that I had a towel tied to the back of my Beemer. She said "That's a Sham Wow", and I said yes it is. Another agent came over and said "Those are made in...

    FIM and AMA Bonneville 2012

Bonneville I think SethO got around 119mph so Doc's attempt ought to go OK. They will classify the modified bikes (i.e. Turbocharged) with the stock bikes. One thing I noticed with Seth's runs last year was that with that fat rear tire, the thing would climb up on the salt at around 119mph. It...

    ONLY IN CALIFORNIA - DMV!!!

California No one has mentioned how CA DMV reacts to aftermarket speed mods like Muffler, Power Commander, Increased Air Flow, etc. My dealer warned me that CHP might stop me for my Two Brothers exhaust. Tread lightly in CA, I guess.

Started a day early to avoid the "Blizzard"

Spyderfest I am in Cincinnati now. Maybe well meet up enroute. I am going through Louisville because it's more scenic. You are probably going through Indianapolis. It's a little shorter. My GPS says I have 459 miles to go..maybe 8hours?
