• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

I keep accurate records on fuel purchased and cost/gallon to come up with a cost/mile and I do this by month so I can compare apples to apples. Lately I have noticed that my MPG is not what I was expecting to the point I thought I should investigate. It was surprising considering that the...

I have a 2016 RTL and put Vredistein 175/55R15 on it. I updated the sway bar and it handles the curves seamlessly.

Thinking about buying a Can Am - looking for advice??

Here is my experience with Can-am. I rode shotgun to Michigan behind my sister-in-law (2011 RT SM5) to pick up a 2016 RTL SE6. Grand Rapids during rush hour was a trip. Did a turn and burn and felt comfortable from the beginning other than I was hunting for turn signals and dimmer switch. Even...

K&N Air Filter Orientation issue - any better solution than just jamming it in?

I bought the recharge kit with the squeeze bottle with the oil and over oiled mine. I used 40gr of oil and ended up with some red oil on my garage floor under my spyder the next morning. In checking their specs it was supposed to be (.57oz)16gr.

K&N Air Filter Orientation issue - any better solution than just jamming it in?

I have a 2016 Can-Am Spyder RTL which calls for the same filter as yours. Do you remember the filter having the same hump when new? Is there a chance that last time in the course of tightening the cover the filter was rotated enough that the cover did not mesh with the top correctly and put...

    Downshifting vs Braking

I had my oil analyzed (XPS 5/40) when I changed it at 8900 miles. Tin was at 3ppm- level 2 abnormal, fuel dilution at 2.7%- level 2 abnormal, and viscosity 100C at 8.7 cSt-level 4 critical. They even contacted me to confirm it started out being 5W40. Been using different product since (10W40...

Are Vredestein Tires Directional? Does Ride-On come in 'bottles per tire'?

Just went to the Ride On website and they said they were out of stock of their auto/suv packs but had a button where they would notify when back in stock. When you use Ride On are you supposed to remove all the wheel weights?

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

It is a stanley and it shuts off (light goes from yellow to green at 14.13v) but don't know at what voltage it kicks on back on. The $10 timer is only for peace of mind... it doubles for christmas lights. The 4 batteries I have heard about that got fried are from 2 individuals. I can't vouch...

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

When my battery died in 2021 on my 2016 Spyder RTL I went to our local REXX battery and they had a KOYO KTX24HL-BS rated at 22Ah and 350CCA. They put in the acid and charged it overnight. Next day $75 and they replaced it. In my roadster operator's guide the only specification for battery is...

Anyone else dealing with this sort of Gas Mileage?

I have one more observation that I have noticed. Some of the gas stations have a slant to the apron, and I have noticed that if my bike is in a nose up orientation, then I will be able to put more gas in. I thought I was getting tremendous gas mileage, but only on that fill-up. In a nutshell...
