• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

I've been asked to provide a materials list for this mod so here it is, other than wire, spade wire terminals, and tie wraps: Battery Tender Connector -...

Is an OEM backrest the best on a 2020 RT Limited

I have the OEM backrest on my S2S because it came with it and I find it perfectly comfortable. I had the Utopia on my GL1100 Goldwing and it was perfectly fine. If I were to buy one now, it would be the Utopia, because it presents a flat surface as opposed to a curved one. I had a friend who...

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

No problem, here are a couple of pictures of my installation. 3 connections, top center is ground, bottom two are switch and unswitched 12v relay mounted under the ground bus bar. Other picture is my charging station for my two Cardo units and an un-activated cell phone that I use as an Mp3...

Have you mounted a remote bus bar away from the battery? Where did you put it?

I made my own and located it behind the zip down area of the frunk above the battery. I made one 12v bus relay enabled with the key switch and one direct to the battery and a third was a common ground. Bought the components on Amazon. Hooked the coil of the relay to the accessory terminal used...

Looking for a good GPS - Touring, no off road. Considering Garmin Zumo XT - thoughts?

I've found over several Garmin GPS units, that they like the Garmin USB cable best, and often don't work well with others.

Looking for a good GPS - Touring, no off road. Considering Garmin Zumo XT - thoughts?

I have the Garmin XT mounted on my 2024 S2S. I like it a lot. Bright screen and buttons easily navigable with gloves. Strictly Bluetooth though, no wired connections. Will not connect to the S2S, you will need a wireless headset to hear directions connected to the GPS. Garmin Drive App required...

Any Mechanics in Southwest Florida who will work on a 2013 RT?

Pretty sure it's either the master or a caliper, probably the master cylinder.

My 2024 S2S Seat has no strut - did BRP discontinue them?

The strut is located on the left (as you sit on the bike) seat support. It's located behind the pivot point and pulls down on the seat support, thereby raising the seat. The strut goes down into the bike and is completely hidden until the rear passenger seat is removed and you can peer down...

My 2024 S2S Seat has no strut - did BRP discontinue them?

Mine had one but it is so weak that I had to replace it with a stronger one from show chrome not long after I purchased the bike. OEM just stopped holding the seat up while refueling. Same problem with the trunk lid strut. Very weak and it will fail soon if it hasn't already. I replaced that one...

2014 RT Limited Struggling on Starting, then the display goes to vertical lines! Could this be the battery going bad already?

I bought this Everstart 12V Automotive/Marine Battery Charger and Maintainer at Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Everstart-12V-Automotive-Marine-Battery-Charger-and-Maintainer-BM1E-New/500329739?classType=VARIANT&athbdg=L1200&from=/search Does the job and is easy on the budget. Works as...

New Owner of a 2024 Sea to Sky.

You'll eventually come to terms with leaving your Goldwing behind as many of us have done. Appreciate the S2S for what it is and what it offers and you'll be fine. Just don't follow a bunch of two wheeled bikes through the twisties and watch them lean in the curves like I recently have done...

Rear Air Suspension not working - compressor runs all the time riding 2-up - any suggestions?

Had the exact same problem initially, good while I was riding it but two up got suspension faults. Gradually got worse. Eventually after a couple of trips to the dealer with the same problem the whole ACS was replaced under warranty. Believe me you don't want to have to pay for it yourself...

Is it safe to ride with a suspension fault?

Mine did that when new, discovered is was because the rear suspension system was not operating correctly, and leaked. After taking it to a dealer a couple of times for this problem the entire rear air bag compressor system was replaced under warranty. Problem was caused by the dealer not...

Anyone found or come up with something to keep the contents in those annoying side load saddle bags?

You can buy a saddlebag liner, a separate bag designed to fit the saddlebags, put your stuff in the bag, then place the bag in the saddlebag. Numerous places sell them, there's one example in the link below. Can Am RT saddlebag liner...

Rear Trunk Box not Locking/securing the trunk, despite the dealer adjusting it to the fullest - Any ideas/guidance/suggestions?

Adjusting the mechanism to its max position is probably not the correct position. The Latching mechanism is easily adjusted on the receiver side, remove the two push pins on either side to expose the adjustments. If, after you adjust it, it still will not latch correctly, then place a couple of...

I don't like my driver's backrest - any better options?

I would go Higher if you can but at the same time you need to adjust it so it doesn't push you so far forward. Without knowing exactly what you have its hard to know what adjustments you can make.

2024 RTL - The ride is a bit rough

The dealer who demonstrated the rear auto suspension working had me sit on the bike with it running and in gear, foot on the brake; then he stood on the rear passenger foot board so the system would compensate for the additional weight. I really couldn't hear it, but then I need hearing aids...

2024 RTL - The ride is a bit rough

When I picked up my 2024 S2S the rear height adjustment sensor was not attached, common complaint about dealer prep. This caused the rear suspension to over pressurize to the point that the bike was nearly unrideable. I measured the air pressure at the schraeder valve under the seat with a gauge...
