• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2010 RT key mechanism failing to open frunk - any suggestions on fixes? Or just go to a manual release?

Like Snowbelt said, don't bother with the DESS. If you need a key to start the bike, just get a chipped key cloned; if you just want to unlock the bike, get a spare key cut! Good luck with your cable!!

2010 RT key mechanism failing to open frunk - any suggestions on fixes? Or just go to a manual release?

You will probably want to put manual rip cords on those locks, and if you get the cables back to where you need them, I can't remember if there's an adjuster on those cables or not. If so, tighten them up a bit, lube is your friend! I had to replace one cable on my 2012, I eventually won the...

Need help with Gasket Identification for the Starter cover - any ideas?

Are you getting your parts from a dealer or a parts house? If it's a parts house, maybe a trip to the dealer and ask the parts department if those parts still available, if not then make your own like Nokesy said!! I tried to find it from the pictures from the house I get my parts and could not...

2017 RTS Coolant leak - any ideas where it might be coming from?

It may sound funny, but if I was you, I would take the beak off the bike, then you are going to have all kinds of room to work and find that leak. Youtube it, it's not as big of a deal with that bike as it sounds Ps: when it comes time to lift it off the bike, have a shop stool or a second...

Changed brake pads. Now my parking brake is flashing exclamation!

You say the parking brake is working fine, did you make any adjustments back there on that when you took it apart? When you set the brake, how far is the drum rolling around on the e-brake motor? Are the limit switches on the wheel ok?

That is so GOOD to hear that you are doing so well!!! I have a friend who needs some work done but I think he's a little nervous about it! He's a total wreck, loves the outdoors, hunts, fishes, and snowmobiles, but can't do any of them because of the pain!! He's getting the shots and they give...

2012 RT SM5 (A&C) - Where is my horn located?

If you take the beak off the bike, which is not as big a deal as you may think, you'll find it stuffed up inside of it! It's the easiest way to get your hands on it!

My first thousand miles on the Spyder

Did you upgrade the sway bar? And what are you running for tires? And a good set of shocks will make a big difference! These are all of the things a LOT of us have found out through the years! Yes, they get pushed around a little in the wind, you have to remember it's not a cafe racer you're on...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Are you able to adjust the damping remotely from the outside of that shock? I still think the damping in that shock is not set right for you! Just my 2 cents! Springs help carry the load and gives you ride height the damping and pressure in the shock gives you the squash and restriction from...

2010 RT turns over, but won't start - Any thoughts before I trailer it to the dealer?

What snowbelt said, plus give it a little isopropyl, check to hear fuel pump!!! Good luck!! You know the worst thing you can do to your bike is start it a short time and shut it off, that's not good for the battery and everything else. Charge it up, throw a blanket over it, and let it rest!

My first thousand miles on the Spyder

Another thing you may want to try is, if you are a tall bodied person and you find yourself slumping forward on the bars, you may want to look into a bar riser to get the bars higher and maybe closer to your shoulders, it will make a big difference with better posture!

Our 6x12 enclosed trailer set up for our Can Am Spyder S2S

You have done a great job on that trailer setup!!! There's no doubt in my mind that you could flip it upside down and the bike would still be hooked down to the deck!!! Good job! 🙃 I can tell you that you are going to LOVE the riding in that area, and you're going to know your bike a lot better...
