• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wish I had not gone with a Vredestien Tire

You know your stuff! In your opinion what tires are recommended for sportier riding? I would like to keep original sizes. They would be for an F3. Thanks

Wish I had not gone with a Vredestien Tire

Just an observation, I have no dog in the fight but if these tires are wearing in the center I would think a lower air pressure would correct that. Low pressure wears the edges. High pressure wears the center.

Can Am Red looks orange to me.

I just got to thinking. I had a 1979 Can Am MX5 that I raced hare scrambles with back in the eighties and it was orange. Hmmmm, might be a sign to get another orange Can Am?

2015 F3 S - are there specific locations the footpegs adjust to? How far back? What to look for in a new to me purchase?

Thanks for the input. I called my local Spyder dealer for prices for tires and mounting. They have 10% off thru March but it's still gonna be $850 all together. Your estimate is pretty close. The exhaust looks like a small version of diesel truck stacks only laid at a 45° angle with the tip...

Can Am Red looks orange to me.

It's the main color of the body work. Might be the same as your frame though.

Can Am Red looks orange to me.

I looked at a 2015 F3S today in the color that Can Am calls red. The salesman and I both think it looks orange. Just an observation.

2015 F3 S - are there specific locations the footpegs adjust to? How far back? What to look for in a new to me purchase?

I went to check out the F3 S. It's a very comfortable trike. I looked at the front pulley but it's hard to tell the color. It's got a rider backrest that fits me as is. The issues are its got original tires all around and an exhaust that looks to be very loud. I've never seen one like it...

2015 F3 S - are there specific locations the footpegs adjust to? How far back? What to look for in a new to me purchase?

Never had a Spyder, never sat on an F3 even, but I'm going to look at a 2015 F3 S. Do the driver foot pegs have specific locations to adjust to? Also how far back can they be set? As long as I'm here, are there any specific things I should look for on this trike. It's a trade in at a car dealer...

Brooks Powersports in PA - reviews wanted - anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks for the heads up on the cat delete. That's one of those things you don't notice unless you own a Spyder I guess. I've had bikes with Two Brothers slip ons that sound great but not with a cat delete. As far as resources, I need to stay at 10 grand or less. Again thanks for the input.

Brooks Powersports in PA - reviews wanted - anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks for the endorsement. That's pretty much what the on line reviews say also. It's sad there are not more dealers like that.

Brooks Powersports in PA - reviews wanted - anyone had any experience with them?

I'm not sure what I want to be honest. I've considered keeping my BMW Z3 instead of a Spyder but it's so hard getting out of. A Spyder or Ryker would get me in the wind again at least. I never thought to look at the forum for sale thread so I'm glad you brought that to my attention. You say the...

Brooks Powersports in PA - reviews wanted - anyone had any experience with them?

Hello all, hope everyone is having a fine Sunday. I'm interested in a Can Am that Brooks Powersports in Grantville, PA has. I'm out of state so I can't see the trike in person, but they do have shipping available I'm told. I'm looking for any experience anyone may have had with them. Thanks.

If I were to Buy an ST, what OEM parts should I get up front in case BRP stops making them?

The feet forward/cruiser riding position isn't something I want or am able to do with my back issues. I need to keep my feet under me more to take pressure off my back.

If I were to Buy an ST, what OEM parts should I get up front in case BRP stops making them?

I like that answer! I'm in Ohio, not sure if it makes much difference. I'm also almost 67 and I've had back issues since I was 15 so I'm not able to put the miles on I did in my 50s but sure wish I could. I really like the ST, the bikes I had the most fun on were sport touring/naked bikes. They...

If I were to Buy an ST, what OEM parts should I get up front in case BRP stops making them?

If I were to buy a Spyder ST, what OEM replacement parts should I get up front in case BRP decides to stop making them? In short, what needs replaced most often that isn't on the F3 and 1330 RT? Would an ECU for the V twin be on the list? Also, I don't see any 2015 or 2016 ST's for sale near...

10 year parts law - will parts for the 1330 engine/trans still be available into 2036?

Well that's not good. I wonder what the difference is with paint codes? There is always the option of a wrap, I guess.

10 year parts law - will parts for the 1330 engine/trans still be available into 2036?

It was the ST limited with the twin. It sure sounded good for a stock exhaust, I'll say that. My wife and I each have BMW Z3's. A '97 and an '01, parts are hard to find for them. Used is the only option sometimes.
