• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The Covered Bridge

That is sad to hear, we don't have bridges like that here in New Zealand, but I have seen a lot of similar ones over the years while watching Movies etc.. And you could almost guarantee there was one in a Western Movie or Similar, and almost always one in Dukes of Hazzard. Kind of Iconic with...

Rev/speed limit Juice Box Pro settings help 2013 RSS two brothers dual and green

Are the other people riding 2013's or earlier? Stock 2013 are 100hp and stock 2012 and earlier are 106hp. My 2013 ST has about 15kmh less than my partners 2011 RSS, and as much as we hardly ever get anywhere near those speeds very often, it still irks me a little lolololol

Spyder Riders NZ 3rd Anniversary Pics

It was only cold first thing in the morning, but the daytime was beautiful. But Monday we had strong wind and rain the whole way home. 7 hours riding, 600kms which is about 350 miles. All I can say is I am glad I had 3 wheels, not 2. ;) Total ride for the weekend was around 1300 kms which is...

Spyder Riders NZ 3rd Anniversary Pics

Hi, just a few pics from our get together, around 30 Spyders and 50 people met in Palmerston North for the Long Weekend here. As you will see in a couple of pics, we were close to the snow, and woke up to -3 Degrees Celsius one morning

    Looking for aftermarket exhaust

Honestly If you want a bit of rumble and not too loud?, the HMF may not be the one for you, unless you can get one that can have a silencer tip inserted. I had the HMF Performance Series, which doesn't come with a silencer tip and I had to ride at the back of the group on group rides, it was a...

What is the best ST-SE Limited Full Cover?

I am using the same cover that I used on my RSS. It is the BRP cover. I have the Larger Touring Screen. It fits almost as well as it did to my RSS, just a little higher at the front which leaves a little of the bumper exposed. The pockets for the Screen and backrest still fit perfectly. By the...

    F3 Touring Escape Package

I'm sure I read somewhere, that this and the other 2 packages will be available in February. Here is a link to the BRP site, and it scrolls through the Accessories Options and the Escape Package says available February...

What should my next Farkle be?

Looking at your current Farkles, I would work on the exhaust, maybe go for the Cat Delete first with Stock Muffler. If you want loud, go Cat Delete with HMF (which is way cheaper than Akrapovic) I had already bought my Akrapovic before I saw you could get the HMF. Or more sedate would be...

    Eliminating "NANNY"

I haven't done this, as I think I would hurt myself lolol. I have an ST SM5. When you pull the clutch lever in there is a little piece/tag on the lever that actually pushes in pressure switch which tells nanny that the clutch is engaged, so she has no need to worry/kick in, just wait until the...

    cold

We are heading in to Summer here now a little bit cooler in the middle of the North Island, luckily we get to ride all year round, I still average around 1200kms (Over 700miles) a month in the winter. Not too bad considering I work 6 Days most weeks. This weekend we are having our Meet-Up...

    f3

I am am on my 3rd Spyder, and I bought them because I wanted them. I have ordered an F3 because I want one. To me all the hype in the world won't sell me something. If I want it and can afford it I get it. Without trying to be rude or a smarta$$, I dont get why people have to come to the F3...

I'm buying an F3 because Lamont and Len told me to!

What part of NZ are you going to be here, and what dates, we could maybe catch up and go for a ride.

    UK Spyders

Was yours done by Fagan? You could advise your dealer that the BRP Training Centre in Sydney has a Laser Alignment System

    UK Spyders

My Dealer here in New Zealand has it, and I cant believe the difference it has made to my ride. Hopefully it is up and running for you soon.

    Another disappointing model year

Great idea in theory, but you would be lucky to find a dealer to carry extra panels, as the cost would be too great to cover the whole range, and if one colour doesn't sell, they are stuck with it. It would work if BRP supplied the parts to dealers on consignment and dealer pays as they use...

    Some F3 Video and Pictures

"but let's not kid ourselves, after six years and three models of Spyder each with a two-helmet frunk, it's going to be a genuine sacrifice to give up what has been one of the most attractive selling points of the Spyder." At the risk of sounding rude, I don't understand comments like the above...
