• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I Am Amazed no one has mentioned the 'New Look' site!

I suppose I'll get used to the different navigation around the site. I thought the previous site was just fine. But change will happen and I must adapt and overcome.

. Snowing now. Supposed to snow all day. More storms due for the weekend. Been using pellet stoves for close to 30 years. Pellet prices are up but it's still a reasonable $900 for the heating season.( usually 5 months.) Lew L

. Right on Paul, Born in San Francisco in '47, I somehow didn't get into the drugs, etc. I was left of center untill I saw the error of my ways with the Vietnam war and the Draft( I joined the U.S. Army). I've all too often said the hippies of that day were the teachers, etc. of...

Help Needed - F3 Air Intake Modification

. Hi Dave, Did you get the answer you needed? My solution probably won't work for you as the intake tube is different on the RT. I'm going to look on a parts page to see what the intake snorkel looks like on your ryde. I looked on the parts diagram, found your intake, and it looks like the...

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

. Installed a Lamonster cat delete. I modified the baffle so that it allows much more flow, and I welded it in place as I just don't trust one little screw with a minimal thread contact area. Also, I added pipe insulation to the cat delete and about 14" of the easy to reach header pipe. There...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

. Test drove the :spyder2: with the insulated cat delete pipe (and stock muffler). Not loud, which is what I wanted. No loss of low-end power; and with the ECU flash, it seems to pull even a bit better. Happy camper here... Lew L

What did you do to your Spyder today?

. And now it's installed.:D A ryde this weekend should cook off the wrap. The 10 minutes if idling for the ECU to adjust the fueling and new back pressure will be done after I lower the:spyder2:off the jack stands. Lew L

What did you do to your Spyder today?

. Removed the pre-muffler (cat). Not all that hard. Used a ratchet tie down strap through the rear wheel attached to the tool in the kit. The other, lower, springs were easy. Now waiting for the heat wrap. It is a heavy piece for certain, glad to have the weight loss. Lew L
