• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PHONE volume LOUD, but not GPS or HEADSET - am I missing something?

Also be aware that you may be only able to adjust phone volume while the phone call is active. The same for gps and music. The gps has to be speaking directions in order to adjust the gps volume. Same with music.

Need a list of preferred shops in the NJ area capable of doing Laser alignment?

Schaeffer's Motorsports in Orwigsburg are very good. May be further then you want to go. Make the appointment on a Friday and I probably could meet you there.

Ron, when you set up shocks what do you use as standard ride height w/o rider or luggage? How much sag do you like to see with rider? Thanks

Thanks, I do have Brembo brakes so I'll take a look.

Anyone else experiencing Braking instability? What possible causes?

Mine pulls hard to the left every time under harder braking. I need to check/lube the left front caliber slides. Hopefully that's it.

Traction Control System - How DOES It Function?

I have done the same or similar on a 2018 RTL. Some dirt on road at intersection. Jumped on it and spun rear wheel all the way across intersection. Went back to see a faint black stripe. Another time jumped on it coming out of a switch back and rear stepped out a couple of inches or so.

Tire Wear - how much more mileage can I expect?

I think what 2dogs is saying is if you get 5000mi out of the first 75% of tread you will only get 1000-1500 out of the last 25%. This is especially true if you ride hard during this time.

Hi Ladies! Hot weather riding pants recommendations?

We wear shorts or just underwear under mesh motorcycle overpants. It keeps the sun off while letting air flow. It also provides protection in case of an accident. Think of it this way: have you ever seen people in the desert in shorts and a t-shirt?

Tires - what speed rating, H or T?

I was hoping someone else would say this so I wouldn't look like a dummy. But I always thought that the higher speed rating was a softer compound. ????

Urgent! Starter button acting up - Update!

I always start my 2018 RTL from the left side before getting on the bike. When the start button has acted up different things have worked. Hitting it again, turning key off and on, hitting the menu button again. Note: I ride most everyday and this might happen once every two to three weeks...

Urgent! Starter button acting up - Update!

I have had occasional problems with mine. Usually it will work the second or most third time. The last time it happened it didn't want to work even after multiple tries. The neutral light was on but decided to try putting my foot on the brake and it kicked right over. May be a neutral switch...

Got an Ez-pass? Where did you mount it on your Spyder RT ?????

That's I switched to the frunk. I think the newer ones are as powerful and wondered about the timing of it being read and the camera taking pictures.

Got an Ez-pass? Where did you mount it on your Spyder RT ?????

I put mine under the lid for the frunk. I've done the same kind of thing on a number of bikes. I had it under the trunk lid on my Goldwings. Never had a problem.

    Dilemma

That looks about the same as mine. I'm wondering with the shock behavior noted above that the shock is the problem.

    Dilemma

The ACS was calibrated last fall with a Kenda on the wheel. The ACS would keep about 15lbs less in the bag than it does now after calibrating. It seems that once you get up to 50lbs or so the ride height doesn't change very much compared to going from 20 to 50lbs. It seems that the air bag is...

    Dilemma

I recently asked for comparisons between the Kenda Kanine and Kuhmo tires. The reason I ask that specific comparison is I have a situation with a Vredestein tire. I went with Vredestein all the way around. The fronts have been great (175/55). The rear (205/65) are rubbing when going over a...

Kenda vs Kuhmo ECSTA AST - How would you compare them?

Thanks for all the replys. I'm going to start a new thread that explains why I asked this question. It would high jack this thread.

Kenda vs Kuhmo ECSTA AST - How would you compare them?

I know the Kuhmo has a questionable rating compared to other car tires but wondered how it compared to the Kenda, especially the new kanine.
