• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Check DPS?

    Years ago, owners would use new takeoff shocks from RT's and install on RS's. That changed seemed to work very well for normal operation. With so many owners getting the new F3, there should be quite a few used Ron bars coming on the market. Otherwise, Pitbull or Spyderpops has them available.

    MPG

    I wondered if anyone has seen any figures on MPG for the F3. I would think that there would be a difference in MPG between the RTS and the F3, due to the difference in weight and gearing.:dontknow:

    If I remember correctly, there is a fuse for the DPS which should be checked. I remember that I put on several thousand miles on my GS(RS) while I was waiting for my DPS unit to get installed.

    If you don't get any satisfaction on the problem from your dealer, I'd be tempted to contact BRP customer service and explain the problem to them. After all, problematic steering could be construed as a safety issue. JMO

    There was a recall for bad DPS units for '09 and some '10s. Your dealer should be able to find out if yours was replaced, or not. It might be replaced, at no cost to you.

    hitch There isn't any difference in model application for the BRP hitch. Once upon a time, there was a Corbin hitch that worked with their saddlebags for the RS.

    DocDoru and effjamis had one at Spyderrfest this year and allowed several attendees to ride it. If I remember correctly, it did very well at the drag strip.

    What size trailer

    If you buy a trailer with double doors, rather than a ramp a 6' would probably work.
