• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I don't see very many here in Northern California (way North). I think there's 2 RTL's and at least one Ryker, but that's it. We're also 150 miles from any BRP Dealership. As you can imagine, I answer a lot of questions about the Spyder. Most of those who inquire about it ride HD's.

    This morning we have beautiful wx, but our Grandkids are coming over for lunch, so for now I just cleaned 500 miles of road gunk off the Spyder. Hopefully I'll get a short ride in this afternoon. Yesterday the odometer turned to 19,000 miles. Such a nice machine.

    Rode South for 90 miles, and stopped for lunch in Legget Ca. Highway 1 starts there. Rode home. Temps at home was 59°, temp in Legget was 94°. Live band in the courtyard, and the Beer was cold.

    Just so I know, why a Laser alingment? Last time I was getting tires for the Jeep, I asked the owner of the shop who is a friend of mine, if they could use a laser on my Spyder when needed. They told me they only use a camera alingment rig. Supposed to be more accurate. Just wondering.

    After my last ride, I found a couple of loose screws on my Route 129 shield. I replaced them due to the Allen sockets being rounded from too many installs and removals.     Look up Speedway Shelters online. They have one that works with Spyders.

    Rode down to see my Brother, and to see his progress on his total refurbished Honda 250 CRF (2006 I think). It looks better than new. Ran some errands on the way home and topped off the tank.
