• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Early To Bed for my Spyder this season...

I had Rotator Cuff surgery the beginning of February and was riding in June after my Physical Therapist and Doctor said it was ok. I started with short rides, about 10 - 20 miles and now it's not a problem. This Cooling machine I felt helped out tremendously with my recovery...

Do Older F3's have any reliability issues?

Hello Jdr00ejr, I have two 2018 F3-T's that came with the larger 89 tooth rear sprocket. In 2019+ the only F3 with the larger sprocket is the F3-S.

Moving comms from one helmet to another

Good catch, I forgot about the half helmet speaker pockets. My half helmets included speaker pockets, but some manufacturers don’t include them.

Moving comms from one helmet to another

What you have listed will work, I did the same thing with the Packtalk Black so my girlfriend and I can change between Half and Modular Helmets. I selected the Packtalk because I ride with other Spyder Ryders that use Packtalk. If you don't plan on doing any group riding, the Cardo Freecom 1+...

The Digital Dash was the introduction of BRP Connect, I don't want to hijack this thread so do a search on BRP connect and you will find more info.

Which is slower, F3-S vs F3-T?

The last year for the 89 Tooth Rear sprocket for the F3T was 2018. My girlfriend and I both have 2018 F3T's, however this was also the year BRP came out with the digital dash which a lot of members are not fond of. We both have Pedal commanders and it's a blast. In 2019, the only Spyder and...

Any 2023 Spyder Rallies scheduled in Florida?

Yes, BRP had an Owners event in 2015 and 2016, even had an opportunity to ride our Spyders on the Daytona Racetrack. I think Lamont also got married during bike week in 2015.

Why did BRP remove the turn signals from the mirrors on the 2020 & up RT ?

You can mount some run/turn LED's along the outside edge of the mirror. I like this option because it lets drivers see my turn signal from the side view easier. You can also see if you inadvertently left your turn signal on. Lamont and Spyderpops sell them...

What is a good way of Talking To my Passenger - helmets or add-ons?

+1 for Cardo Freecom 2 for you and your passenger. I went from the Sena 20S to the Cardo Paktalk Black and don't miss the Sena at all.

Any other place to tap into 12 volt power for accessories?

I also agree with the Neutrino and I'm currently in the process of replacing a FZ-1 Fuzeblock with the Neutrino. The Neutrino is pricey but I like the automation of controlling my accessories. The FZ-1 Fuzeblock is also good and may be something to consider. Install the FZ-1 in an area that...

Before I buy a 2nd phone… could I just use it for BRP Connect functions?

Pete, You have me thinking about this differently now, I believe it's possible since you will tether the 2nd phone to the main phone via WiFi, then connect the 2nd phone to BRP Connect via Bluetooth. I will have to try this when my new phone arrives.

Before I buy a 2nd phone… could I just use it for BRP Connect functions?

Yes, use the main phone as a WiFi hotspot and connect (also called tethering) the 2nd phone to it via WiFi. You will now have internet service on both phones. Check your cell phone Data Plan because some carriers have a bandwidth limit on tethering, if you exceed it they may charge you for the...

Cannot get to rear bulbs - what am I doing wrong?

The Tackform has a stronger spring than Lamont's. I have purchased them both and like the Tackform better.
