• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Just found this out the hard way myself. Had a mower battery that wouldn't start this week. Bought a new charger/tester that said voltage was good and charge was good. What it didn't tell me is what it does under a load which wasn't much! Got a new battery and is started right up.

    I think it depends on the buyer. I don't believe anyone goes out of their way to buy a Chinese product, it is usually more of wanting a cheap price or not doing research where a product is made.

    I felt the same when I got mine. It really helped to ge a backrest (I could lean back a bit) but I think you will always have to lift your leg a bit to hit the brake, it's something you get used to. There are brake extensions you can get very cheap if that might help you.

    When I test drove my 2018 limp mode kicked in and I had to wait 2 hours for them to charge the battery before I could finish my test drive! It left a bad taste in my mouth, but turned out to be the only problem my bike has seen. I hope the same for you! :congrats:

    Good to hear success stories! Sometimes all we hear are the complaints and that can make people who follow the board paranoid about buying a spyder. I have only had a few months on mine, so I will wait until at least a year is up to comment. :pray:
