• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Priority maintenance pack now much did you pay

Probably a good call. I like workin on my own stuff too, but with some of the quirks, like having to bleed the brakes with the BUDS computer hooked up, I went ahead with a mx plan.

Priority maintenance pack now much did you pay

I paid $1500 for 3 years scheduled mx. Covers all labor, parts and materials (except for normal wear items, ie brakes, tires, batteries) Even though my bike sat for almost a year, Ive more than paid for it already at teh prices the dealership charges, and Ive still got a year + left on it...

Stuff on order, should be riding soon!

Well, I got the Pingel shifter installed and adjusted. Made sure it worked OK, then took the bike in to get it all up to speed on recalls, updates, etc, and have its 12000 mile svc done. Picked the bike up Saturday, and it still runs like a top! Didnt see any noticeabkle diference in the...

What am I doing wrong trying to lock her up.

I bought a service agreement on mine too. 3 years schedule mx covered, unlimited miles. Ive got a year and a half left on it, and it has already paid for itself at the prices I would have paid otherwise. I figure Ill get at least another full cycle of checks (3, 6, and 12K) before it runs...

    Finally!

I also got to sit on an RT while at the dealer. Gotta say that it really didnt interest me at first, as I like the "sport touring" quality of my GS, but after sitting on the RT, I was fairly impressed with the ergonomics of it. I played around a little with the bags and stuf, and gotta say it...

    Spyder / Piaggio MP3 500 Need Advice

I agree. I prefer leather, as I ride in a very hot climate and it tends to not burn my backside quite as much as vinyl, but a s stated, leather does require more upkeep to keep it nice. (Nothin a good dose of Lexol doesnt take care of in my case) Most seat companies state that you should have a...

:agree: A small harbor Freight or the like trailer, with a drop down gate added would probably fit the bill nicely for not too much money.:2thumbs:

Fornicate "em!!!!! If they are just givin you a hard time, thats fine, but if they are truly dissing you and want nothin to do with the spyder, they werent your friends to start with. Who cares what you ride....just have fun!
