• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Battery charger/maintainer question

If this is a new 2009 that sat on the showroom floor awhile, it may very well be a battery issue. Lead acid batteries like to be fully charged for storage, and if it sat in the Spyder without being charged for that long, it may not be able to hold a load. Have the dealer load test it, and have...

    Pingel Customer Service

Once I got some "muscle memory" and knew where to push the buttons, I loved the shifter. As long as its adjusted properly, it works great. I had an issue with missing 1st tio 2nd quite a bit, but got it adjusted and got used to how to milk the clutch through that shift and it started worknig...

    Pingel Customer Service

Just a quick post to let you know about some pretty good customer service. I bought a Pingel Electric Shifter from a third party Supplier (not directly from Pingel) earlier this year. I had some issues installing it and called their customer support. After sending a few emails and pictures...

Need help finding long sleeve t shirts

Just reread your post and if cooling is of importance, try this In the summer, the only thing I wear under my mesh is the fitness / wicking / compression shirts (long sleeve) They help wick away moisture so add a "cooling" effect, and long sleeves protect from the sun. One brand is...

    Can Am Tank Bag

I agree that would be the easiest. I however am a bit too anal and tend to keep alot of emergency stuff on the bike. Basic tools, compressor, tie wraps, electric meter, tire plug kit, dual tire gage, etc. This all takes up room and is stuff I dont want stolen. Its easier to lock up the...

    Hand Brake

I have the ISCI system and love it. I believe tye system Floto set up was not an off the shelf install, and completely eliminated the foot pedal. If I remember right, he had a BIG brembro master, that applied pressure to a manifold (from a goldwing) that in turn had 2 lines coming from it that...

    Freak'n Windshields!!

Guess a windshield isnt all its CRACKED up to be. (Sorry, had to...LOL) Is it possible your mount holes are "off center" or just outta spec from being in line that it causes undue stress on the shields? With it happening so many times, and you getting progressively more careful on the...

    Can Am Tank Bag

Let me preface this with my cost of my tank bag....Free! (so I am biased...LOL) I like havin a bag there. Its handy to keep sunglasses, helmet lock cable, and other knick knacks that dont need to be locked up but easy access is convenient. The bag seems to be holding up well, but if it ever...

    Windshield cleaner?

If your lookin for just a polish up, I use pledge. If you wanna get the infamous TX lovebugs off, dampen a dryer softener sheet and lightly rub with it (very wet) til they dissolve. Mind you this will look very messy/milky, but washes right off with water or a lil soapy water. Best thing Ive...
