• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bad ecu

Do wonder....🤔 As the ECU processes all the information from all the sensors attatched to it....did they in fact check the sensors...? have any mods or work been done that could be interfearing, they seem to be the ones that fail most often. May be time for a second opinion....:dontknow:

    stupid air filter question

No stupid questions.... Not familiar with your model but I do know on mine there is a certain way and if it sits to high and will not close flip the filter over and it should drop in. If it is to tight you may have to take a razor blade and trim the rubber a bit as some times there are...

    2009 brake line replacement

Why...? Best I can see is about 3.8 hours at whatever the shop rate may be... parts I would get from cheapcycleparts.com as it is not a warranty issue and their prices are much better.

    Tire Pressure?

0-60..... Start with the recommended pressure... both fronts have to be the same as you know... then ryde and see if this works or needs adjustment. Everyone will have a setting for them. You can probably get it by weight but the biggest is the handling out there on the road. What tires will...

Anyone know a good place for Raising handlebars & steering modifications in AZ?

Not familiar with shops or dealers in AZ but you can still get risers to move your oem bars up and or back and many have switched to other bars altogether. As long as the move is not so much that you have to adjust for the electrical /and or hoses it is not to bad a job. There are also videos...

    Vibration/grinding noise 2014 ST

Welcome, welcome 👍 Welcome to both the spyder world and this site. You do not mention if your spyder is an se or sm model. The semiautomatic has a better chance of having some clutch noise when cold. Do you know what oil and when it was last changed.? Is the vibration and grind only in...

Help with changing out License Plate Light on 09 RS

Some do... LED bulbs can cause issues as they are less resistant and polarity must be correct. In your case as that light is on the same circut as the running lights you will not have a problem. I lost some lenses but found them with the added reflector replaced with a lens so it became a...

Handgrip heater stopped working - any solutions/replacements?

Interesting....🤔 Does sound like an electrical connection problem. Could be that the grips are not connected to the switch High to High and low to low, something they should be able to check out easily enough. Might check with another shop/dealer. Many bikes have heated grips and there must be...

    Big Bang Theory - Gearbox

It is normal..... From neutral to frist or reverse will engage the idle transmission to the running engine. Once that has occured, with the so mentioned bang, the transmission is now in motion and all shifting will be smooth. If you start the engine while in gear this does not occur.

Apparently Not All Rykers Have Defective Wheel Nuts

Interesting....🤔 The more they move about which could and which are etc making one wonder if it is not worth just ordering the new and improved nuts and eliminate the worry. May , in the end, end up that BRP will mail everyone new ones like they did back when there was that issue with the gas...

    Tire pressures

ah...tires So much has come across here on tires that it does drive most to skip it all and ask straight out questions about them. This is still the best way and we always get more information. So now we have the option of driving along and seeing the tire pressure go up and down accordingly...
