• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone ever done a remote Purchase & Transport? Any insights?

You may want to check out iMotorsports in Elmhurst, Illinois. They have free shipping on their bikes purchased from them. I have purchased 2 Spyders from them in the past and each time it was a pleasant experience.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

FRS is a joke. I dealt with them for over two months and they kept having excuse after excuse that they couldn't get the parts or the right parts to do the recall. I called the dealer in Olive Branch and they set up an appointment with a week, took it to them, and had it back in two days. They...

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I had my recall done. Drop my bike off on a Wednesday and picked it up on a Friday. Everything seems ok except they didn't have my rear seat on correctly. Which I corrected when I got home.

Getting close to decision time. I need some input from those who have ridden an F3-L and RTL?

Get the F3-L as you won't be disappointed. I had two RTS before I bought my 2017 F3-L, a 2012 & 2015. I even demo-ed a 2025 RT and didn't like it all all. I'm 6'2" with long legs and on my F3-L I have the floor boards at position 5 and love it there. Plenty of space to stretch my legs.

What do you prefer to use for lifting your Spyder/Ryker?

Looks like cinder blocks to me as they have an opening on the top where the jack stand is.

What do you prefer to use for lifting your Spyder/Ryker?

I'm sorry but I just think that would be very dangerous. You wouldn't catch me under there trying to loosen a bolt or tighten one.

    2026 model year reveal 8-17-25 6:45 PM

It would have been nice if they put that 300 HP Ski-Doo motor into the new Spyders. Now that would be fun.

2017 F3-L - How can I keep glove box shut when phone is plugged in and driving?

I have ridden my 2017 F3 L probably over 10,000 miles with the glove box not completely closed and it was not once flipped open by the wind. I don't have the stock shield on, I have replaced it with a Madstag shield which may help with your problem.

What's YOUR Number One Favorite, Model & Year, of Spyder you'd own given the chance?

It all started for me back in 2013 when I bought my first Spyder, an 2012 RTS. I then moved up to a 2015 RTS with the new 1330 engine. On both of the RTS's, I felt cramped, as I'm fairly tall at 6' 1" and I have long legs. So after those 2 RTS's, I finally found my perfect Spyder, a 2017 F3...

Do you think there's an F3 update coming for 2026?

I am ready for a little different look also. I also love my 2017 F3L.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

Well, I reluctantly put my 2017 F3 Limited in the shop to have the output shaft & front sprocket recall done. My Spyder has almost 20,000 miles and had no evidence of red rust on my front pulley in all those miles. If it ain't broke, don't fix it is my attitude, but I thought that if I ever want...

Anyone purchased from an out of town dealer? Is this common? Any concerns?

I have bought 2 Spyders from iMotorsports in Illinois and each time I had a trade in. Also had free shipping on both new Spyders. It was a very smooth transaction and they gave me a fair price on my trade in both times. I would buy from them again. Plus they also have the best price in the...

Do People Get Thrown Off of Spyders?

I also have 2 motorcycles, one being a Spyder F3 Limited and the other a Triumph Thunderbird, and I don't have any problem switching from one bike to the other. I don't see any problem with doing that.

Do I really need to Change O-Rings at Every Oil Change? Do you?

I change mine every time I do an oil change. I do save the old o-rings just for an emergency situation. What are you saving by not changing the oil o-rings, a few dollars. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just my 2 cents.

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

After you decide on which model pleases both of, you may want to look at iMotorsports in Elmhurst, IL. They have a website for new and used Spyders. They even have free shipping on most bikes they sell. I have bought two Spyders from them with trade-ins both times. They are easy to deal with. As...

What are your Phone Holder Preferences? Brand/style & placement?

That is where I have my Quad Lock installed but not against the left handgrip. I have mine maybe an inch or so from the handgrip. Maybe your Kenda tires are to blame for the vibrations.
