• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My solution to help my wife with steering on her '20 Ryker Rally was to add a steering dampener and BajaRon's swaybar and links. It helps but as others have stated, you have to be easy on the grips and drive it more like a car or snowmobile.

    I've been bitten by the kill switch a few times. The wife constantly forgets to switch it on on her Ryker. It's the only way to kill the engine on her bike but she still forgets it.

    I've had this mod for a while now and I can honestly tell you that it's a game changer for me. Nore more stretching for the shift paddle, and no more slippage on the blinker switch. Also no more accidental pressing of the horn switch. That happened more than I care to mention.

    It's all personal preference. For me, when I ride alone, I listen to music via my phone and helmet speakers. When I ride with the wife, who has her own ride, I don't listen to music. I'd rather enjoy the ride and talk with her through the comm.

    It has a better seat apparently - is it that much better, can you notice it ? Do people with RT Limited seats get a sore butt? Do people with an S2S get a sore butt? - I have an RT but put a comfort seat on it. At first it was ok but I could only ride about an hour before my butt and hips...

    At least the dealer made good. However, knowing how I am, I would be asking the dealer for some kind of retribution for my time. I can see maybe going back a 2nd time, but a 4th? Good lord.

    What year ride do you have? I have the '21 RT and tried a 2" riser from Slingmods. The problem for me wasn't the rise, but the handlebars themselves. I ended up buying the Helibars. They're expensive, but you have many configuration options. But, having said that, I used to have the 2" riser...

    I have the original and can tell you it's made a huge difference. Because of my riding style, I didn't need the upgraded version, but hear if you're a more aggressive rider, that one might be the one to get.

    Just throwing this out there but since everything works without the switch, I'm thinking that the illumination from the switch, coupled with the running lights, is drawing more than 5 amps. If you wire just the switch and turn it on, does it blow the fuse?
