• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, here in Vermont, we will be experiencing quite a break from our cold and snowy pattern. Mild temps, windy conditions, and even rain fall will lead to a big thaw. This thaw could lead to some impacts such as minor river flooding and even a risk of a flash freeze as temps come tumbling down...

Welcome! Does the Spyder have the extended warranty? When you go turn the corners you push thru the corners. You don't lean like you would do on a 2-wheel motorcycle. Deanna

Pre 2020 RT owners - can you stand up while riding?

It is much safer to pull over in a rest area, get off the Spyder, take a walk to stretch, and then get back on the Spyder and continue your journey. Or at a gas stop and do some stretching then continue on your journey. Deanna

Winter Maintenance - Should I be concerned about Moisture in the Tailpipe?

Also add to the list, change the oil (oil filter, 'O' rings, etc. and put fresh oil in it), put it on a tender, and put it to bed until the weather is better. Deanna

Considering a 2012 RT - Any one out there have good words on them?

HI delsurfin, My first Spyder was a 2012 RTS SE5 - it was comfortable, I did several long trips with it (went to Lake George, New York, and also went to New Hampshire). I rode mostly solo on the 2012 RTS SE 5. I had several issues with it (speed control did not work from the get go, the right...

2012 RT front speakers bad, need replacement - anyone know the right size, shape, ohm ratings, suppliers, & how to do this?

There are companies out there that make aftermarket speakers like Slingmods, Crutchfield, JBL. The size for the OEM front speakers is 6.5 inches round. As for the 2ohm waterproof speakers and how hard are they to to replace, someone else should chime in on this. Deanna
