• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Which of these 2 windshield heights for my 2020 Spyder F3?

    I have a 25 inch F4 windshield on my F3T. I'm 6'2" and love it. A windshield is subjective just like seats are.

    If you go to Amazon and type in Red Can AM Spyder Key Cover it will show you several items. Look for the one by Crazy MetalMan, it shows up in red. My wife and I each have that style for each of our F3's. They work great

    I have one like Motorcycle Dave is showing. Mine is from Rivco. I cut the rods down 3 inches and rethreaded them so it fits on my F3T with the trunk addition.

    LED Headlight Question

    Another vote here for Lamonsters lights. We put them in both my wife's and my Spyders. Unbelievable change from the original lights. Much brighter than stock. Just my opinion and yours may vary.

    My wife has had both hips replaced.I put on Lamonsters 3rd peg for her. It works great for her cause now she just steps up on it and can get her leg over the seat.

    To kill or not to kill (switch), that is the question

    In 45 years of riding and having been an MSF Instructor, I have always used the "kill switch". Immediately after I shut the engine off with it I turn the ignition off with the key and clip it to my belt. As Ozarkryder said it is muscle memory and just a normal habit for me. YMMV with what you do.

    Clock not keeping time.

    Since I am now fully retired I really don't care about the time when I'm on the Spyder I have quit wearing a watch also. Just for continuity sake though my clock does gain about 10 minutes during the riding season.

    Cheri and I have the Ultraguard full and half covers. We use the full covers when storing them in the winter and the half covers for when we travel.

    My wife and I both have have the Ultimate seat and backrest on our F3Ls. With the backrest the seat is totally comfortable.

    Ultimate Seat does have a 14 day return policy on all their seats, so if for some reason you don't like it you can contact them about returning the seat. The 14 days should give you plenty of time to decide if it will work for you.

    I have had 3 Russell seats on 3 different bikes (one was tried on my F3T). I currently have an Ultimate tall boy seat and I can ride all day with no problems. Did 425 miles, 450 miles and 850 miles in three consecutive days with absolutely no problems. You have to decide what is best for you.
