• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Here in Minnesota we put Seafoam in the gas tank and fill it up, run it for about 10 minutes. We store our F3Ls in an enclosed trailer plugged into power, and stored then in a pole barn. Don't worry about the cold weather. In the spring they have always started up with no problem.

    you might try and take the screw to a hardware store and see if they have anything with the same thread but a bigger head. otherwise maybe a place that handles nuts and bolts for construction.

    Well it's 34 degrees here in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area. Unfortunately we got about a half inch of that dreaded white stuff over night. They're forecasting rain/snow showers for most of today. Time to clean up the Spyders and get them ready for hibernation. Bummer.

    I've had many brands and styles of jackets from hot weather to cold weather. Try different ones on, find the one that fits comfortably and is in your price range. Everyone is has different tastes so do what works best for you.

    Parking brake issue still.....

    When this happened to my F3, I got fault codes for the switch and actuator motor. I replaced them both and no more problems. The cost was $250 total for both parts.

    My wife went from a 2010 RT to a 2017 F3L and says the handling and seating position is perfect for her. Cheri is 5'10" tall and totally enjoys her F3L. She states the steering is better and more responsive. The choice of which one to get is which one works the best for you.

    I had the same problem with the parking brake. There were codes for the switch and the motor for the parking brake. The dealer replaced them both and no more issues.

    Check out the First Gear Dry Pak 40 ltr. You should be able to both helmets in it and it's waterproof. I use that one for trips strapped to the back seat and have never had a problem with stuff staying dry.

    Cheri and I each ride our own and when we stop for gas it usually takes about 25 minutes cause people come over and ask her about her spyder and glad to see her riding her own. Cheri had a 2010 RT and now rides a 2017 F3L and loves it.
