• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After some True Can-Am insight - will I be making a huge mistake buying the RTL or F3?

That does not look like the normal cover for the Zumo XT/XT2???

Yes it’s the age old tire question… What's currently the best replacement?

As I said in another thread, I loaned my spyder to my riding buddies 60 year old daughter who is in town for a week. I had cataract surgery on my right eye yesterday and would not be able to ride anyway. Well, she says she is not giving it back!!! When home in Colorado she rides his blue 2018...

Interesting conversation at the gas pump - asked why I chose to ride a Spyder rather than 'a real motorcycle'?!

We named our first 2018 "The Hook", as people always came up and ask about it. All three will carry on with the Hook on the front.

Is it plug-n-play to fit US Spec headlights to my UK Spec Spyder? Or are there mods needed?

Hey, my riding buddies daughter is here for a week and I have eye surgery so she is going to be riding it. I forgot to tell her that freeway on ramps it blast though the gears at full throttle!

Is it plug-n-play to fit US Spec headlights to my UK Spec Spyder? Or are there mods needed?

Like the steering would be on the wrong side. 🤓

Sliding off floor lift (GAH!) - What do you do to keep your Spyder from sliding off the jack?

Question, what was the reason to jack it up? What service or part replacement were you going to do?

Any ideas where to look for whatever this is with my 2016 RT's Power steering???

I agree on cleaning that main frame ground as Peter noted. Fixed an issue I was having with my Champagne/first 2018 RTL.

    See you next year!

"End of February"? Do you mean every four years, which is still two years away?

Why so many Rykers for sale?

Calling a 1000 pound three wheeled single rear wheel drive vehicle an off road vehicle is more or less a misnomer! What goes up has to come back down at some point. VVV This is an off road vehicle. VVV

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

13-19! Much better brake pedal placement also. 2019 RT chrome wheels are the best looking wheel Can Am ever put on the RT and some F3's.

I have a dead 2023 RT, no electrics except lights - any thoughts?

The Spyder has the highest parasitic battery draw of anything I have ever owned, based on the capacity of the battery spec's for it. My Kawasaki KRX 1000 SxS could sit without a tender for weeks on end and fire right up. The Spyder left for weeks not on a tender is not going to start. One could...

Any feedback on this Inexpensive Bluetooth Intercomm for all helmets?

Appears the $17 is for a single unit. Amazona also has a Y10/V10-2X for $25. AI Overview The main difference is that the BikerVision V10-2X is an enhanced version of the V10, often featuring better connectivity (like Bluetooth 5.0 for stable connections), improved audio quality (sometimes with...

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

After 5 years riding my 2018 Spyder's RTL's I hardly have to think about shifting gears, shifting down going into corners, and powering out of the corners. It is all more or less automagic now.

Have any of you added an Aux Tank to a 2020+ RT?

I believe that if you just leave the purge solenoid plugged into it's electrical connection, the Spyder will not know what is going on with the canister and hoses. Or the solenoid can be removed and a resistor inserted, taking place of the solenoid. Measure the resistance of the solenoid and get...

OEM Tire showing cupping - is this something that goes with the brand?

I last rode a road bike in the mid 1980's when I had a 1978 Kawasaki KZ 650 SR. In Oct 2020, I bought my first Spyder. I have bought three 2018s now and I still have two. I rode snowmobiles through the 1990's to 2006, so learning the Spyder was similar to those. Now in my 80's and love riding...

How Many Ride an RT Limited After The 5 years Of BRP Warranty Has Expired?

Two of my three 2018's are/were RTL Chrome models. Not sure what year that started, however I believe it ended with 2020 models.

How Many Ride an RT Limited After The 5 years Of BRP Warranty Has Expired?

What are all these repairs people are worried about? The Spyder's are fairly reliable as far as I can see. I bought the tools to remove and reinstall the rear wheel for tire changes. Do oil/filter, fuel filter, anti-freeze, battery replacement, sway bar installs, electronic accessories installs...
