• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Sticking Handgrip - works fine with no end caps! Solutions?

Wow, $200 for a throttle :( And I have heated grips, which I don’t see listed anymore. https://www.amazon.com/2013-2018-Throttle-Handle-Grip-709401055/dp/B079RSQ26V Wonder if number superseded and all are heated? Who’s our parts expert here? Lol

Another Sticking Handgrip - works fine with no end caps! Solutions?

No, used warm soapy water and pushed on. Seemed really tight and struggled with it a bit. Seems I may have warped it or damaged whatever bushing it spins on by pushing so hard. :(

Another Sticking Handgrip - works fine with no end caps! Solutions?

I think something inside the grip housing is rubbing. Can’t see inside it. May need a new part, unfortunately doesn’t look easy. It’s a heated grip and think either the wires or a part inside is rubbing enough to smoothly roll back. :(

Another Sticking Handgrip - works fine with no end caps! Solutions?

I have a cup holder, but checked that. Everything seems to have good space between. Funny, I’ve changed this grip twice over the years and never an issue. :( Trying again this morning.

Another Sticking Handgrip - works fine with no end caps! Solutions?

2013 Spyder ST-S So, read all the threads, tried all the tricks :( Totally apart now after replacing a grip and throttle sticking. No have not started the bike since, is that the issue? Does it magically reset itself when started? With it totally apart, no start/cruise/hazard switch, no...

    Laser Alignment

With research you can do it yourself, unfortunately I doubt you will find that info here since some here do it as part of their living. I did my own years ago and it’s been perfect since.

Lamonster Approved Wheel Balancers for your Spyder

Ah, so an issue with balancing or an issue w non-motorcycle tires. I couldn’t find a tire shop who could mount my new rear tire and had to take it to a BRP dealer, who seemed to balance it fine. Maybe fronts would be an issue on mine, don’t know yet.

Lamonster Approved Wheel Balancers for your Spyder

Never seen these before, what makes them worth $100 ea? Ive had my Spyder 5 years, still have factory front tires, on my second rear tire. Never had an unbalanced feeling, nor unusual tire wear since I originally laser aligned my bike. Just wondering how this is worth it over balancing? Can...
