• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    It's finally really mine.

Did a 150 mile ride today. Really heavy mist this morning that made the windshield look like it was raining. Saw deer with young fawns twice today. Both mothers were standing in the road, and first fawn was out on the road also. Second time the fawns were on the side of the road. Have put just...

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

Nope, that Bunny hopped off into the bushes for another 10 months or so.

    It's finally really mine.

Well this morning before going on a 60 mile to have pizza in Stanwood, Wa I decide the belt was too tight to the side flange of the rear pulley. I did not touch the adjustment while replacing the rear tire, however it moved to the right from where it ran before and after the transmission recall...

How long does the Factory Belt Tensioner last by miles?

I think I am going to remove the one on my Arizona Spyder RT (first owner put it on it) when I get back to this Fall. I have the same worry banging around in my head. The Washington Spyder does not have one and there's no noises coming from the belt. I put an aftermarket one on the first...

    It's finally really mine.

Well this baby is ready to be ridden! I installed the General Altimax RT45 215/60R15 on the rear today. Sadly, there is quite a bit of rain in the forecast for the next week or so. Second picture is how I secure the front tires while jacking up the rear. Because I am on gravel here in...

    Welcome, Wildhorse

I see why you have not joined the forum earlier, as you have been busy riding your Spyder. I also see a military ribbon decal above the headlights for a group I also belong to, I trying to enjoy life as much as I can before my AO issues stop me. Those issues are why I have a Spyder and not a...

    Canyon Carving on a Canyon

It would be interesting to know how sales are going based on the areas (AKA terrain) of the country. For example, Washington has many miles of logging roads, however, most are gated now a days or have signs limiting access. Places like Walker Valley Off Road Park has lot of smooth roads in...

Has anyone removed their Seat locking post?

. I have done that to all three of my 2018 Spyder RTL's. I would add that I use the frunk one quite often. I walk up to the Spyder and find it is easier to pull the backup release than it is getting my key out of my pocket.

Tires rated worst and best. Two tires commonly used on Spyder's are noted

Slate, the name of the new inexpensive EV pickup, worked with Kenda to get a tire for the 25K (US) truck. So Slate entered the field with a very cheap truck and needed bargain priced tires to keep the price down and turned to Kenda! And bragged about it in the video I watched.

NEW oil leak 2016 RT - anyone recognize it/know what it is from?

If only we could slide a hose on, put the other end in a catch pan, then open a valve! In the mean time I stuff paper towels around the hole in the panels to "try" to capture the wayward oil draining out.

Just sold my Harley and have follow up questions - what spec RT; Base, Ltd, Sea to Sky? Used, or new?

Sorry to hear that, there is an old adage, a sale is not complete until the money is in your bank account and the bank says the new balance is available to you.

Just sold my Harley and have follow up questions - what spec RT; Base, Ltd, Sea to Sky? Used, or new?

Look at the RTL listed here for sale in Redding Ca. It would be worth the road trip to go get it. It has all the extra a person would want at a great price. https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/2023-can-am-spyder-rt-limited-in-northern-ca.166186/

My new Diamond J Customs front shocks install!

Sometimes being a trail blazer has pitfalls! I find that working with an establish product/vendor that has a track record on what "you" want to do is much cheaper in the long run.
