• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Sea to Sky and Trailering - will I be able to tie my Spyder down properly?

I found a website that sells 68mm replacement emblems that fit CAN-AM Spyders (and CAN-AM Renegades, apparently). https://maineventemblems.com/products/custom-can-am%C2%AE-renegade%C2%AE-and-spyder%C2%AE-emblems-68mm The description says: Color options, too. No Empire emblem, but they have...

Today I tried navigation via BRP Go (2024+)...

When I bought my Spyder CAN-AM was still trying to get Apple Carplay to work correctly. Once they released the software update, I immediately downloaded and installed it on my Spyder using my home WiFi network. And then the issues started. I am an Apple FanBoy, and had an iPhone SE at the...

Are there any new computer Updates for the 2024 Spyders?

I think the v5.1.0 update is the most recent, although I haven't checked recently. https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/spyder-10-25-display-models-firmware-v-5-1-0-android-and-iphone-brp-go-connection-for-maps.166910/

Are there any decent Sun covers for when Spyders are parked?

Several companies make a "half cover" or "travel cover" for the Spyder that covers everything from the top case to the windshield, and down to the bottom of the seat, but not the lower portion of the bike.

Please let us know what you find. I personally use Apple CarPlay and am happy with it, but not everyone is an Apple Fanboy like me.

Today I tried navigation via BRP Go (2024+)...

So I've been thinking about BRP GO! some more... and maybe obsessing about it a little. A bit of time with Google found some interesting information. BRP GO! is the app that runs on your phone to connect your phone to the 10.25" display of your Spyder or Canyon. BRP Connect is the software that...

Today I tried navigation via BRP Go (2024+)...

What app did you use to create the route for BRP GO? I believe it's a USB 2.0 port, which means 2.1 amps at 5 volts. The question is how much power your phone uses while using the GPS/navigation features of the phone. I haven't had any problems with power for my iPhone SE. Google says Pixel...

What kind of navigation do you use on your Canyon, especially when you are out of cell phone service.

I have a Garmin Zumo XT that I used with my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky before CAN-AM got Apple CarPlay to work. I have a QuadLock mount on my handlebars and my iPhone is in a QuadLock case. I have been in one narrow valley where there was no cell phone signal and CarPlay wouldn't work, but as soon...

    Nice People in Tennessee

When I moved from S. California to Indiana, I met someone who was shocked that I was leaving California! She told me, without any prompting, that she'd always wanted to move to California. So I asked her where she'd visited in California,, and she said she'd never been to California, but just...

How do you contact 7Jurock windshields? Shipping times?

I did a quick check for 7jurock through the US Better Business Bureau. They are not BBB accredited and the BBB rating for the company is: F https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/santa-fe-springs/profile/motorcycle-customization/7jurock-plastics-inc-1216-265363

Is there any detailed manual available for the 10.25" display system? How do you use it with your phone and headsets?

Since you're not an iPhone user there's no reason to pair your phone or anything else to the Spyder. The question then becomes how do you pair two bluetooth headsets to your phone? You do it through the Bluetooth settings on your phone, the details of which are going to be specific to your...

Which Battery tender works best - OptiMate 3 or the Battery Tender Junior?

Google thinks the Optimate chargers can do a lot of things that a Battery Tender Jr won't do. I use a Battery Tender Jr on my Spyder RT.

Question about the 4 PSI rule for tire inflation

Okay, I understand now. The groupthink on SpyderLovers.com has decided that using 4 psi difference between front and rear tires on our vehicles is the thing-to-do when switching to tires designed for a much heavier vehicle (aka a car).
