• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any recommendations on a Trickle charge set up for a Canyon?

@Rubicon guy, The dealership installed a battery tender lead on my bike, the plug is dropped through the hole in the plastic just below the battery on the positive side. Sarah

Any tips you can pass along about Installing the Factory Heated Grips, I'll be happy to hear them?! Help!

I'm in the midst of this, and so far it looks like I'll be removing everything but the wheels in order to get to the wiring harness. If any of you Standard owners have completed this install and have tips you'd pass along I'd be happy to hear them. 😵‍💫 Sarah

Took delivery of my Canyon Base

I may not be the one to ask, blacklightning. I never could get comfortable with the F3 feet forward riding position and always felt somewhat disconnected from the bike, so I didn't enjoy curvy roads as much as I would have liked. I hope you'll soon be able to give the Canyon a try. Somewhere...

Took delivery of my Canyon Base

I made a deal with iMotorsports and traded in my F3-S, their offer was much better than I expected, and the whole process was easy as could be. Patrick, the transport guy, arrived on the dot late Tuesday afternoon with a big enclosed trailer, drove the Canyon off, drove the F3 on, and that was...

Returning member after years on a Goldwing Trike - anyone else done this? Thoughts?

I think the 2020 and up Base RT is the best looking bike in the entire Spyder lineup. Keep us posted, @poppajim! Sarah

Can You Tour on a Ryker?

I’ll just add that I appreciate having a sport windshield, it takes care of most of the wind pushing against me, but leaves my head in clean air. Sarah

Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

Rykers are sorely underrated in my opinion, as long as they fit the person. Sarah

Anyone out there balance your own Ryker wheels? If so, how?

I've got Ride-On sealant in mine, we've used it for years. The front of the Ryker bounces a good bit for the first mile or so, then smooths out. Sarah

    Ryker turning left Issues

Good luck, Guy. A new forum member who is having the same left turn issues pm'd me, their dealer had never heard of the issue or the kit and left them holding the bag. So you may have a long row to hoe. It's terribly frustrating all the way around. I'd like to get BRP corporate by the ear...

    Ryker turning left Issues

According to recent posts, some folks on the FB groups have been able to have the Steering Update kit installed for free. Here's the current bulletin: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11015830-0001.pdf Should be a recall, but this is a start, at least. Sarah

Is the Canyon Riding position narrower than the RT's? Enough to notice & stop cramping hips?

Asphalt Animal, the Canyon has a narrow seating position with your feet dropped directly below. It put me immediately in mind of my dual-sport bikes of the past, DR650, BMW GS, and so forth. I'm selling my F3-S for the same reason you mention, the seating position is too wide for my comfort on...

Has anyone lowered a 2020+ RT seat?

I've never used them, but have heard good things: https://www.laamseats.com/ Might be worth a call. Wonder if there's a local upholster with any experience? Sarah

    Finally got my Spyder!

I think I may be looking at a better sway bar for my F3S, too. My upgraded Ryker feels like it's glued to the road, but the F3 sort of feels like it unhinges in the middle of a curve. I'm ticked with the cat delete, sounds just right with the stock muffler. Sarah

Rear seat won't unlatch! Any pics of the latch/latch location? Sure would appreciate any help!?!

Rollie, If it's like my F3S the latch is in the right hand side of the seat in the corner nearest the tail light. Can you get a knee or strong elbow on the seat and push down on that area while you turn the key? Sarah

Are there any Definitive Sway Bar Upgrade Outcomes available for the Ryker (Rally's specifically)?

That makes perfect sense, @nightfalcon. Mods have to suit your priorities. Keep us posted. Sarah

Congratulations and welcome aboard! Just making sure you've seen this thread: https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/dos-do-nots-for-new-spyder-owners.41346/ You'll scat around the curves once you get a feel for the bike. Lean forward and into the turn like you mean it, riding these things is...
