• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 will not start after long ride then parked for 1 hr - Anyone else? What fix?

If the dealership has, "no idea/solution" ask it to open a case with BRP.

Yes it’s the age old tire question… What's currently the best replacement?

We too walk in your shoes. Pancreatic cancer took our daughter last April who, like your son, fought valiantly to the end. Parents aren't supposed to outlive their children.

Yes it’s the age old tire question… What's currently the best replacement?

The Quatracs are the best front tire I've used on my Spyder. They replaced Federal EVOs. Haven't used them in the rain, but on wet roads, they are very trustworthy.

How did I mess this up?!!! Removed the frunk to do some work, ran the Spyder with it off, & now have all sorts of warnings & Limp Home Mode!! Help?!

If you started the Spyder with the frunk removed you ran the engine with all the wiring harness connections unplugged, and tht's what caused the codes. when you get it all reassembled they should disappear. Been there, done that.

How Many Ride an RT Limited After The 5 years Of BRP Warranty Has Expired?

2013-14 RTLs have polished trim, whether it's actually chrome like a '49 Caddy doesn't matter; I probably should have used the words highly polished vice the word chrome. The trim on my RT-S is more of a satin finish. I haven't paid any attention to MYs later than mine because I have no...

How Many Ride an RT Limited After The 5 years Of BRP Warranty Has Expired?

While it's not an RTL, I didn't shop the RTLs because I'm not a chrome fan. With good luck and no creeks rising in my travels, I will easily begin the second 100 grand on my RT-S on the way to Deadwood, if not sooner.

Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally 2026 - Registration Now Open

I’m doing some initial route planning for the 2026 rally and seeking advice from Spyder riders who’ve been to Deadwood later than my first trip in 2018. I will be coming from Broken Bow, NE through Chadron initially on US-385N. At Maverick Junction I have the option of continuing on Route...

Is anyone out there Ryding with a Pacemaker?

Cobranut's advice is the best. The other commenters comments about spouses riding with one are positive anecdotal confirmation.

    FedEx is the worst!!!

That question never got answered, but in my attempts to get the sample back which UPS could not do, I took my problem to the owner of the local UPS store and he gave me a rundown on some of the standard fraudulent shipment scams run on UPS and there are a whole host of them. Still didn't change...

    FedEx is the worst!!!

Yes, it was a sample sent in a Wix/Napa kit. I've been buying them from Napa since I purchased the Spyder 11+ years ago with absolutely no problems until the sample I sent this past February. The pita problem is you can't speak with a live human when a shipment goes off the rails.

    FedEx is the worst!!!

You don't want to hear the UPS horror story about sending a Spyder oil sample from my home to a lab in GA that included being accused by UPS of fraudulently shipping the sample.

Considering a 2012 RT - Any one out there have good words on them?

Your STS had a riding position substantially different from the 2014 RT model. In my not so humble opinion, the reason the 990 series V-Twin is no longer in production is the 1330 ACE engine is a vastly improved, state of the art engine. Here are some graphics explaining the major differences...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

I never gave resale value a thought when I bought the roadster 11+ years ago. I intentionally bought at the end of the 2014 MY to get the best OTD price. The odometer is now > 95K and at least 150K is my target.

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

It will remain to be seen, but the brouhaha about dealerships not servicing Spyders over 10 years old and possible spare parts problems should virtually disappear because the V-Twin engines are no longer in production, and the engines that are are curretly in production have enough commonality...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Turned 95,000 on the odometer returning from the 23rd annual Arzie Rogers Memorial Toy Run conducted by Speedway Harley-Davidson of Concord, NC. A beartiful day in the mid-seventies with at least 500 riders.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

Your last three paragraphs remind me of a niece whose husband owns a marine salvage company in LA and was called to appear at the Exxon corporate headquarters in Houston. He showed up in his normal work clothes and was approached by a guy in suit and tie who asked, "Who are you?" to which he...

Is there a trick to getting the Right Rear Axle Cap for a 2022 Spyder RT on properly?

Interestingly, the left and right rear axle caps for a 2010 through 2025 are exactly the same by part number; L=705501081, and R=705501022. you can see them at this link when you select the year and model Spyder, https://epc.brp.com/Index.aspx?lang=E&s1=441bf742-56c6-4d7b-9f81-b69368db7385.
