• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jacksonville Power Sports Rip off avoid

You are absolutely correct. I live in Keystone Heights and many have told me to avoid that place like the plague. I know I have posted info on this site about Jacksonville and Gainesville as being places to avoid if you are looking for repairs on a honda or jet ski's. Ken krb1945

    winterizing question

Most tires sitting over winter will flat spot which means a bumpy ride for a while when you first start up in spring. Best to life the weight off them, fuel stablizer, battery tender and change the old prior to storing. Ken krb1945

50 mph 5th gear roll on 08 SM vs 09 SE

Her SE5 is red... I've always heard red is faster... mine is yellow In 5th gear at 50 my SM is at 3900 and the SE is 4 even. That minor difference could be the way the cluster is calibrated... I think. I'll verify those numbers again tomorrow. My remember'er doesn't work as well as it use to...

50 mph 5th gear roll on 08 SM vs 09 SE

Good answers one and all. I think I found part the problem... right side Y gasket leaking and my drive belt is snug against the inner sprocket flange. This may be sapping some of the power too. Her drive belt is off the flange just enough you can see the inner side of the gear teeth. Also...

50 mph 5th gear roll on 08 SM vs 09 SE

Nice weather here in south Georgia today, 74 degrees. A great day for a ride so we rode down to Bruesters for ice cream. On the way back I told my SO to do a 50 mph 5 gear roll on on my mark... standby "mark". Her 09 SE5 blew me away. So we did it a couple more times. Same thing blew me away...

    Good news, Bad news

Don't feel too bad... We have three spyders. All three have been recalled for DPS. We have been trying to get appointments for two of them ever since we got the recall notices. They always say "we don't have the parts call back next Thursday." I know at some point in the future they will have...

    New Gen2 DPS

I'm happy to hear that it is an definite improvement. Now I know it will be worth the effort to call the dealer a couple of times a week to get on the list. I am anxious to get it done, especially on my "better half's" SE5. I'm always worried about her dps sticking when it needs to be moving...

    New Gen2 DPS

I received three recall notices, one for each spyder about 10 days ago. I called the dealer and was told they get the replacement units two at a time and receive them the middle of each week. To get an appointment I have to call the middle of each week to see if they have them in stock. I'd be...
