• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    DISPLAY We went to the NASCAR race in Los Angeles last month where Can-Am had a display set up. There was a police spyder, the new turbo spyder, and 6 or 8 other spyders in different models. They were handing out pamphlets and answering questions.

    Spyder Police

    Police can-am We were at the Can-Am booth at the NASCAR race in Los Angeles last week and they had a police display spyder there. But it did have Ontario license plates. I see the spyders being great in parades, funerals, etc. as well as everyday use.

    POLICE SPYDERS I have seen a video somewhere that showed 2 spyders in Louisiana State Police colors. I believe anywhere there are police motorcycles, there will soon be spyders. The only disadvantage I see is the ability to lane split.

    Battery Tender Time

    Battery connection I used those same terminals on my 2013 RTL. But my battery tender came with both squeeze clips and ring terminals and a quick disconnect. So I hooked up the ring terminals to the posts and about a foot of wire and the quick disconnect hangs in the frunk when not on use...

    SMALL HOSES If you decide to replace those 2 small hoses, go with silicone hoses. Probably $2 more, but no worries after that.

    FUSES Have the same sort of fuses in my 5th wheel RV. Little light shows when the fuse is blown.

    Kicks out of cruise control

    Cruise control Same thing happened to me and then the cruise control wouldn't turn on again. Just knew i was in for a new cruise control switch.....Finally just touched the brakes and that seemed to reset the cruise. Might be set just a little too tight.

    Xm radio

    XM radio Your speed has nothing to do with receiving a signal from a satellite. The radio signal is faster than any spyder (unless you are on a black currant one) ;) so either the signal is being blocked or there is a wiring problem.
