• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cuba Rally

One note. it is hosted by the same dealership that started Spyderfest, but it's not the same thing. they're 2 completely seperate entities. essentially it's Cowtown realizing how much they miss Spyderfest and making their own. me personally, I don't see the reason of having 3 rally's...

Ever been hassled because of your RC patch?

have work my SRA patch since 2011 when the San Diego Chapter was started....haven't had a single issue. and there is a LARGE difference between the 2 piece and 3 piece. the 3 piece leans towards the 1%/trouble MC's, where 2 piece leans towards more of the riding group types. trust me, there...

Wanting to know what the general concensus would be...

seems like there's enough interest for me to kickstart the next chapter. :) after I get most of the info I think I would need and the future membership would like to know, I will see what time and say this summer would be the best to meet up and hash things out and make this thing real. :)

    Does anyone have super clamp?

I got mine sent to me by the dealer st Spyderfest so avoided the international charge. also, if you can't get under your trailer (my rv gas tank is directly underneath my garage in my rv...there are alterantives. I went to Grainger and got these, or a version like them...

    Does anyone have super clamp?

I have them and love them. use them to transport my RA in my 5th wheel toy hauler. what it is is an L shaped sheel chock that clamps to a light steel plate that is bolted to the floor of your trailer. very sturdy. and you also only need to short (ratchet) straps holding the spyder forward to...

6000 miles, need a new rear tire

I have had 3 OEM tires and one aftermarket, and am currently on an after market. I got more miles (avg 14000) out of my OEMs than I did my first aftermarket (12000). too early to remember the name.

Castrol 5W-40 Power RS 4-Stroke synthetic

I have used this oil with no problems. and the only part you need to check on with other company's oils is, other than the obvious, is that it's made for a wet clutch. I forgot how to check, but that is one thing to look at.

    1330 Triple in other models?

IMHO, why ruin the spyder by making it lean? yes, it brings in new customers who like the leaning factor of a bike, but this platform is how you got your name, and the likeness of an ATV is one thing that attracted me to it. also, it's a SPORT model? why water it down by putting a weaker/less...

What site do you purchase your Oil change kit instead of BRP?

just make sure to note the difference between the SM5 and the SE5 parts. you don't need the SE5 trany oil filter if you have an SM5.

    1330 Triple in other models?

They aren't exactly starting R&D right now....it took them 2+ years to R&D the 1330...why wouldn't they have had a brain or 2 on how to fit it in the RS at the same time?

just installed the Custom Dynamics Double Feature license plate replacement lens

I replaced the OEM POS after it broke on me due to hitting the front lip of my bed of my truck during transport. I bought the CD LED license plate holder and then went to a truck accessories store and bought a truck brake light that fits right into the spot where there OEM cover sat. I tied...

Wanting to know what the general concensus would be...

The great thing about SRA is that the National Director lets the chapters choose how to run themselves, so it will be up to us once we get going, if we do. We'd just need to abide by the Charter, which is a really short list of rules. As a chapter of SRA, it's essentially like HOG, in that...

Wanting to know what the general concensus would be...

Wanting to know how the Ryders in western WA feel about maybe getting an official club/chapter together. I know people have varying opinions on this subject, and I'd like to hear them all. I am apart of the SRA-Columbia River Chapter, as well as helped start up the SRA-San Diego Chapter. I'm...
