• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

C1282 Code and fix didn't work

I'm not a mechanical type and didn't know I needed to flush and bleed. I read on a post on here somewhere that a flush and bleed should be done by a dealer using BUDS. Is that true or can I do this myself with a buddy who knows about this kind of stuff? - no BUDS...

C1282 Code and fix didn't work

Tried the LPS reset procedure: After a low pressure switch (LPS) problem has been solved, it is necessary to clear the occurred fault in the VCM as follows: 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Wait 30 seconds. 3. Turn ignition switch ON. 4. Press the brake pedal, you should hear two clicks. NOTE...

    Repack Front Wheel Bearings...

... if I need to. 2010 RT SM5 32,000 mi. High pitched whine at 35+ mph, sounds like left front. Goes away when at slower speeds. Steady and raises in pitch along with rise in speed. Guessing wheel bearings may be the culprit. I searched and found recommendations to clean the pads and rotor...

    Missing second gear!!

RPM shifting I shift through the gears at 4500 rpm for each. Initial shifting - just starting out - it shifts easily into second. After I've ridden for a while it starts missing second... I really shift up firmly when that happens but it still misses at times. All gears around 4500...

    Temp flat tire repair

All this talk about compressors and patch kits... ...leads me to ask this question - the tires on my 2010 RT are Kendas - are they tubeless? If they are tube-type, what kind of patch kit should I carry. I'm familiar with the repair using the plug type of patch. This thread has been very...
