• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Julio, Here are the coasters for the door prizes for Norcal, thanks again for the use of some of your artwork. I am no photographer, and the I couldn't get the light to work right. They look much better in person. Ray

Thinking about spare fuel container location

Every time we stop I DO open the air valve just to release the pressure. But I used this last year on a 9000kms trip, worked great. Well, actually, I didn't NEED to use it on the trip, but was very glad it was there..:spyder:

Thinking about spare fuel container location

I believe you have a trailer. I mounted this to the side of the tongue of the trailer. I also ran out of gas in eastern Nevada one year, gas stations, if not entire towns were closed. Ray

How do you reply when asked about the Spyder?

I'm not old yet either, only 50. And I really hate the way I sit on a F3, never been a cruiser style rider. the RT is the best of both worlds, it's a laid back touring bike, but it's a hell of a lot of fun in the corners too.

How do you reply when asked about the Spyder?

I tell them that spyder IS NOT a motorcycle, but I find it WAY more fun. And the RT is like riding a Cadillac.

Transition from 2 wheels to 3

I agree with WisconsinDavid It took a few days of riding to get to where I was a least a bit comfortable. It also took a sway bar to make me totally comfortable. Personally, I do not like the F3 or the Ryker, just not my kind of riding position. If you are a Goldwing guy, try a RT, I think you...

Anyone else experienced Handlebar looseness like this?

No I haven't. It's a 2017 and I have put 41,000 kms on it. Up till I noticed th4e shaking this year it has been rock solid, and my dealer has the "other" (can't remember the name of it) alignment system. Last year on a back highway in eastern Nevada, I went 1.5 miles without touching the handle...

Anyone else experienced Handlebar looseness like this?

I am getting my ball joints replaced next week. I have noticed some shaking this year that i didn't remember from last year. Thought maybe I had chucked a weight on one wheel. But it does smooth out some times too. I'll report back after they are done. I am getting new front tires put on at the...

    Dealing with car envy

I can honestly say I have never had "car envy" Cars, trucks etc. to me, are just tools to get me and my stuff from point A to point B. The bikes and spyder are a totally different thing.
