• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pulling the battery in the winter????

Winter Stoarge The simplest and best is just use a Battery Tender during inactivitey winter months. That way the battery is always topped off and ready to go. If no outlet available run an extension cord of proper gauge wire to facilatate it. I have used a Battery Tender for many seasons on my...

    Hot weather safety

Hydration Pauly 1 : Neat formula which I never heard of. I certainly will use that as a guide when summer heat blazes. Gatoraide replaces lost electrolytes I'm told but as a diabetic I need to watch sugar which Gatoraid has.

    Kill Switch

This is a basic question I'd like to know from you Spyder owners. When I had my Harley it was suggested that to turn off the engine you used the Kill Switch rather than key. If this is preferred with the Spyder operation I was never told this by the dealer on purchase. Obviously the kill switch...

    Sticky Seat

Lately when I gas up I have a hard time getting my seat release to open. I push the key down and turn to gas tank icon. Sometimes it releases easily and others I have to repeat several times for a release. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment needed or lube some place? I'm afraid I'll...

    Radio Problem-Maybe

Last nite did about a 60 mile ride to a Burger Pub. Local radio station played Ok going but coming home kept getting intermittent static. Temperature was about hi 80s and humid around 10:00 PM. Was just wondering if weather conditions played a part since this has never happened before. Anybody...

    Harley Spyder

That is an interesting thought. I'm sure you would still have the 2 wheel diehards but a Harley Spyder would out sell their Triglide just with a test ride. Thats where my money would go,

    Who is BRP?

Dealers I agree 100% that a good pleasing dealer for his customers makes the world of difference. In reading a lot of comments IE: 2-3 trips for same problems until I changed dealers kind of bears this out. My question is that those kinds of dealers are inept or just don't give a damn?

Who is BRP Nicely put and my sentiments exactly. Only had my Spyder a few weeks so am still getting acclimated to it. But I can assure you it is FUN-FUN-FUN to drive. Problems Hell Yes. Just litle nagging things but quickly corrected by my dealer. I only hope BRP takes heed of suggestions and...

    First Trip

Last weekend we made our first trip on the new RT. Logged 730 miles and had fun. Handled well on Interstates as well as State highways and country roads. Ran between 60-75 mph. Only has 1300 miles total and one gas check showed 29.8 mpg. I figure ryding 2 up with luggage wasen't bad but hope it...
