• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

You're missing the point. I asked "what" makes a bad word bad. It's not only adults that use certain words either as mentioned in other responses. I grew up in New Jersey and I don't think I need to lighten up.

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

RESPECT? I do appreciate the comments about JC and GD. I have never used them in the cursing context, and never will. The OMG has gotten so popular, that some who purport to be believers use it as well. What ever happened to 'geesh', 'oh my goodness', etc. As one posted, people just don't...

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

:agree: This is what Bruiser and I believe, also. I know the "F" word is in everyday language now, but I cannot stand to hear it, especially from young people. As someone here mentioned - the 'r' word, when spoken to mean stupid or idiot, makes us very angry. Having a special needs daughter...

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

Bruiser and I were out this evening, trying to find the comet that was supposed to be in the western sky. No luck, but I started a conversation about bad words and why they are bad. I know that 'dam' is a structure to hold water back, but if someone uses that spelling in a sentence in the 'bad...

Hugely disappointed in BRP - Spyder five now Spyder three.

I posted on Can-am's Facebook page that I was very upset that Faran, our female Ambassador, was no longer going to represent us. Here is their reply: And this is the answer I received: Can-Am Spyder Kris, thank you for contacting us on this matter. You are correct, both Faran and Mickey's...

    Len and PitBull Powersports

That is above and beyond. It would be nice if we had a dealer who had decent service. They are okay, but could be improvement. Maybe Len can give them some lessons!

    Yes I'm still alive!

Bruiser could not have said it any better. When Amanda was born, we went through a little of the "why, God", but quickly changed to "why not?" She is our blessing, our gift from Him and even though we've gone through some rough times with her (and still do at times), she is our baby girl and...

    Adrenaline and anger.

He handled it well, even though I could tell he was very angry. As he said, this isn't the first time we've had people almost t-bone us when we're trying to pull into our driveway. If I hadn't pulled over when I did, she would have hit me in the rear. There were a couple of vehicles stopped...

You have done really awesome and congratulations! A 'diet' is definitely a four-letter word around this house. We both try to portion control, eat more healthy, and I've recently joined a gym. We also use the Wii and Kinect. I just want to look better on my Spyder!! :dg1:

    40 Years Ago Today

Bruiser also served in Viet Nam. No thanks or welcome when he and the others came home. We always need to remember our military members who have served and are serving now.

Gun question. To carry or not to carry.

Hoping to take the concealed carry course soon. They offer one on base, through Outdoor Recreation. I'm not new to using a gun (or an M-16) but need the refresher.
