• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Congratulations Bob Denman

I had just started a thread that I think his posts are not being counted correctly. He's posted several times after he hit 19,991 but they haven't shown up on his post count. Hmmmmmm??????

    BOB, I THINK YOU'VE ALREADY REACHED 20,000

I was looking at some of the threads, and according to the post count for you, it has stayed at 19,991 and you've posted some more since then. Yes, I do notice these things - 35 years of being a secretary and administrative assistant , I wanted to bring this to your attention. If I'm wrong, or...

    An open letter to BRP

We have some very talented GOS (Girls on Spyders) who have designed a logo for us, paracord bracelets, etc. Maybe 'youse guys' need to find someone to do the same for you. :roflblack:

    Wifey expressed interest

Short and sweet - never rode anything. Bruiser bought first RT in 2010. Asked me if I wanted to learn how to drive. He bought a Vulcan, had it 10 months, and traded it in on 2012 RT. I never had a desire to do two wheels> I do enjoy the manual transmission. It's all in what's she's...

    Wasn't thinking clearly...

And just to straighten things out - no, I was not adopted!! My parents took care of 63 foster babies in 15 years, my grandparents - 59 in about 15 years, and my big brother and his wife were foster parents to over 70 babies in around 20 years - most of them special needs. So, I'm very...

    To Whom It May Concern

There are always going to be issues with any product, whether big or small. Bruiser and I have had issues, but more with the dealership than with BRP itself. We are happy when we are ryding, and enjoy every second of it!!

    Wasn't thinking clearly...

As Bruiser's wife, I hope anyone who reads this knows this is a joke. Bruiser does not post anything that would be cruel. I do hope all who read this understand that this is to be funny - that's it! My little brother is adopted, my uncle is adopted, and my niece is adopted, and they are all...

    Composure

(Bruiser) - Ask BB about the time I was petting the black leopard at a zoo in England. We were at an animal reserve in England and there were many different animals there. It was rather open, as far as being able to get close to some of the animals. As we stood and watched the big cats...

    Potentially New Ryder...Advice?

Hi, BourbonSpyder. Don't know if we've already met on GOS on Facebook or not. For me, I never rode anything in my life, until Bruiser asked me if I'd like to learn how to ride the Spyder. Been ryding almost two years now and loving it. It is true that a Spyder is not a motorcycle. When...

    Lance Armstrong supporter

Well, if this is becoming political, then I'm not going to post anything here. Wait! I just posted. Guess I did what I said I wasn't going to do. Uh oh, was that a political statement???? Leaving before I get into more trouble. Geesh! another political statement.

LOVE IT!!! This was absolutely amazing. Bruiser and I watched it together and would have loved to be the man sitting there. Just watching the interaction of the babies especially with the man, and the silverback overseeing and being the "Dad". Thanks for posting this JerBear!!

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

LOL! I'm in accent limbo. I still get asked where I'm from, and have lived in NC for 30 years. When I visit family up north, they say I've been down here too long. Guess I'm just unique! :ohyea:

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

No, not that old yet, and don't have the Jersey accent anymore. However, I still like going 'down the shore'. nojoke

Tell your story. What was the moment you knew you had to have a Spyder?

And to put my little 'addition' in - we bought the 2012 RTS because I had now claimed the 2010 RTS! That's about it!! :2thumbs:

WHAT MAKES A WORD A 'BAD' WORD?????

Born and raised in the Northeast, curse words were not allowed to be spoken by us children, and we did not hear them from our parents. My Mom always told me to consider the source and rise above it. In other words, don't lower our standards to someone else's. Bob - you sure we didn't have the...
