• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this why you bought it?

Ryde On Ya'll! Ugh,...This topic is so played out. Tired of hearing this vitriol from the 2-wheeled trolls. Cool is a state of mind, man,... like cheap sunglasses, or flip flops,... I ryde a Spyder because I love it! It's total fun. I couldn't give two :cus: about the nay-sayer's and...

Seal Floorboards or Lamont's NBV highway pegs?

I purchased Lamont's NBV brackets, but used Kuryakyn pegs. I used the 20% angle piece that comes with the new kit, and they sit nice and tight to the body, just above the deflectors. They come with enough options for flexibility that you can mount them at almost any height or angle based on...

How much did the color affect your decision when purchasing your Spyder.

Absolutely affected our decision. We are a white car household, (except for my black truck,... ahem), so the Pearl White was right in the wheel house! My wife really liked the blue too,...but we both agreed to the Pearl, the rest is history...

    warm up time

:agree: Same here. I typically fire it up and let it run for a minute while I gear up. Once I jump on, its sitting around 1300-1400 RPM idle, and it seems to run great from there.

    New panel certificate..

I was told by my dealer that they needed me to bring the voucher so they could get compensated by BRP for the part and labor. The install is free to us at a service appt, but they need the voucher to get the kickback from the vendor.

Most memorable quotes from the Lamonster BBQ, 2012

Dateline: Hot Springs, N. Car. Lamont is conducting his "safety" speech before we run The Rattler,... "You can trust the VSS on the Spyder, I do it all the time, man,...it will do its job, just don't look in the ditch!" Haha! Classic. The dude abides, man,... Oh, btw, no one went...

    Lamonster BBQ- Ride Day

Simply Epic What could only be described as a spectacle, was a sight to behold. For some that may have been to an owners event, or Lamonts in the past, you know what I'm talking about, but this was our first time, and it was worth the effort to see all these bikes together in one place...

    RT staring issue!

Awww,...this was disappointing,... When I read the title, I thought this was going to about people staring at the bike as you drove by and walking into stuff,...like phone poles, mailboxes, glass doors, other people, etc,... maybe next time.

    Stolen Bike Insurance Settlement

That works pretty well in your favor. Remarkable price really, and timely too, right before the 2013's hit the scene. i guess everything happens for a reason, huh? Heck, you could buy a 2012 leftover, should the 2013 not tickle your whistle, and have some cash for mods! Good on ya, and...
