• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where is the ENGINE VIN located on the Engine Block?

I have a 2020 RT Limited-and I live in MN with the same requirement of providing an engine ID#. Is it the same in terms of panel removal (left side) and such for the 2020?

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

Can anyone direct me to the location of the engine ID#? In MN, it's a requirement to title a Motorcycle or Can Am Spyder. Is it a PIA to get to?

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

I pulled the pin and purchased a 2020 RT Limited. The price of newer (if you look hard enough) wasn't that much more-or in some cases the same as many overpriced dealers and private parties that aren't moving anything.

Is an OEM backrest the best on a 2020 RT Limited

I do - but I have to say the Utopia backrest looks like it could be a bit more comfortable, recommended, and a bit less expensive,

Is an OEM backrest the best on a 2020 RT Limited

I did find this on FB Marketplace-OEM (used) for 2020-up. The seller says an install kit will run about $50. Any ideas on this kit? - -

Is an OEM backrest the best on a 2020 RT Limited

Just pulled the pin-pending delivery on a 2020 RTL! It doesn't have a backrest, and I was looking on eBay. Does anyone have experience or suggestions on OEM vs. aftermarket? Thanks, Bob

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

@JayBros, I live in MN - so that might be sound advice... but it also raises a great question. When will prices at dealers and private parties go up? It seems like dealers are currently motivated to clear out bikes in that 6 to 10-year-old range.

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

I'm still getting frustrated sifting through RT's on Cycle Trader and private party listings on FB Marketplace. When I try something new, I typically don't go for broke headlong into it - cost or otherwise. Just when I gravitate toward 2014 - 2016's, I realize that I can get a 2020 (if I look...

What's the likely Cost Estimate to get 3 New Tires and Air Pump Replacement done?

I may not have been clear if your reply was directed at the 21K in my post. The bike has 21K in miles on it with the tires and air pump changed out for sale. I was trying to get an idea of how much cost the dealer incurred as part of the sale. They're asking $12,500 + Tax. out the door.

What's the likely Cost Estimate to get 3 New Tires and Air Pump Replacement done?

Still looking - but I wanted to get an idea of the combined parts/labor cost. A dealer that is offering a 2016 RTL has replaced all 3 tires and replaced the air pump. It has 21K on it. What would anyone estimate those things to cost if I were to have them done? Thanks, Bob

2020 RT Limited Rear Case Removal - does the cover come with the bike? Should I expect it when buying a used bike?

I just watched a video on 'What's new for the 2020' and a Limited was shown. The guy easily removed the rear case and put a cover of matching paint in the open space for a sportier look. Does that cover come with the bike - should I expect that it would be sold with a used bike? Thanks, Bob

How expensive/difficult is it to do a 2014 Seat/Backrest Change Out?

I'm looking at 2014 RT S-and I'm not thrilled with the seat color - I'd rather have black. My question is - how expensive and how much trouble is to change out to an OEM (or aftermarket) seat and back/headrest? Thanks, Bob

Anyone had any luck using a Non-OEM Trailer for a 2020 RT Limited?

I'm narrowing in on a couple of 2020 RT Limited's that I am looking at - a Red RT and a Chalk White RT. What I am wondering now is if anyone has had luck with non-OEM trailers, or if that is even advisable? Thanks, Bob

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

I am really vacillating on one right now. It has cruise and an electric windshield - 13K miles. I can get it delivered from TX to MN for $10K

Looking For Other Riders near Minneapolis?

Hi Lori, are you still riding? I'm in the process of finding a bike. Even though it's an apples/oranges comparison - how do you like the 2016 F3T vs. and RT? I live in White Bear
